Willtl 54 Report post Posted October 24, 2015 SR - assuming you don't clean your cars in icing sugar, what did you use? Some kind of dry car shampoo?
chopper602 21 Report post Posted October 24, 2015 After a wash and quick seal with Gyeon Wet Coat last weekend That Wet Coat is pretty impressive isn't it! I still don't understand how it works - spray it on to a clean car and straight away pressure wash it off, as you do it starts to bead up and the beading lasts quite a while 1 Gringosteve reacted to this
chopper602 21 Report post Posted October 24, 2015 SR - assuming you don't clean your cars in icing sugar, what did you use? Some kind of dry car shampoo? It's snow foam - applied via pressure washer and a special foam gun. Used as a pre-wash
Squadrone Rosso 82 Report post Posted October 24, 2015 Yes, snow foam via a special mixer bottle that attaches the the Karcher.
Foulsmell 120 Report post Posted October 25, 2015 Next job green gunk removal from the engine bay.
Mark-in-Stoke 488 Report post Posted October 25, 2015 WD40 removes the gunk easily. Oh and a tip I had from the guys who make the autobrite cleaning range, if you use their citrus wash you can just add some to your snow foam mix and that will work just as well and convert two jobs into one. Foulsmell 120 Report post Posted October 25, 2015 This is what I have been using for the last few months, really easy to use and great results.[url=https://www.youtube.com/embed/1Lwc0zmG9RQ?feature=oembed] Looks a good product. What's the longevity like? If I had a red 86 it would have to be a wax to give it the deep wet look.
Mark-in-Stoke 488 Report post Posted October 25, 2015 I've waxed it for the last 2.5 yrs, then had a ceramic coat applied then use this every couple of months, very happy with the finish and even happier with the time saved. The longevity is 3-4 months or the re-load lasts quite a bit longer. 1 Foulsmell reacted to this

Mark_Swaddle 12 Report post Posted November 3, 2015 Few snaps following a Sunday clean. Complete noob when it comes to this detailing lark!
