keelerad 256 Report post Posted November 13, 2013 Well after a false start with some initial doubts about the fittings I have just fitted the bonnet struts that Fat Rab brought down with him that we got from Chris at Tarmac Sportz Note to get mine to fit like in the pictures on the other forum I had to mix the fittings, so Drivers side I used the one labelled L on the bonnet and R on the wing (see photos), checked operation and clearance when closing and everything seems good. Only tool you really need a 12mm ring spanner, though a ratcheting one helps to get to the bolts in the wings Did do the double spanner trick with a standard spanner though to crack it loose All done. look Ma no hands Nice easy fit, only the 4 bolts to undo 1 suggestable reacted to this

Special K 442 Report post Posted November 16, 2013 Yep, I like 'em. Not sure they'd be useful for me - I usually get the stable boy to open the bonnet and put his head on the block to prevent it closing... Seems that Fensport have some in stock..
