Pioneer SPH-DA120

Hi,

I just joined the club today.

I'm thinking of fitting a Pioneer SPH-DA120 to my BRZ.

Has anyone else fitted one of these units? Are there any other recommended head units out there?

Any advice gratefully received.

Cheers Rob. The Alpine unit looks better but the Pioneer one very similar but a lot cheaper.

I would go Alpine. I already have an Alpine INE 925R, though mine is two years old now and really it's out of date, but still has a very good spec in what it can do. I suppose the only downside is that I can't read text messages on it. 

 

Also neither the Alpine or the Pioner has DAB which makes it a non starter IMO.

I dropped my pioneer 8400bt which is in the bloodline of your

unit and replaced it with a kenwood kmh-bt34 which is way simpler and way better IMHO.

I generally use my phone to stream radio so having dab I no real issue.

Yeah I'll be streaming radio from my phone too so DAB isn't a worry. I'll check out the kenwood kmh-bt34 too.
