Gringosteve 213 Report post Posted August 23, 2015 Hi Rich I seem to have developed condensation and an annoying dash rattle at high revs. Is this sortable through warranty? Cheers Steve
nikndel 509 Report post Posted August 23, 2015 Yes mine had new lights some get new gaskets the water runs down the side of boot lid and over rear lights not a great idea so I sealed my lights at the top so water goes over lights as it was worse with my aftermarket lights
nikndel 509 Report post Posted August 23, 2015 Sorry as this was addressed to RRG but it took me ages to figure out what caused it just giving options if you did fit other lights 1 Gringosteve reacted to this
Kodename47 446 Report post Posted August 23, 2015 It's actually down to how tight the lights have been fitted. The gaskets don't like being too tight or too loose it seems. It's not actually a defect with the lights themselves. 1 Gringosteve reacted to this
Qu1ckn1ck 44 Report post Posted August 23, 2015 My gaskets were replaced under warranty because of condensation forming inside the lights. 1 Gringosteve reacted to this

Mark_Swaddle 12 Report post Posted October 7, 2015 Nice! I'm having trouble getting my misty rear lights sorted. Took them to Toyota once, but had the same issue a couple of weeks later, so I spoke to them again today and they told me that it is "deemed as an acceptable phenomenon that cannot be cured" (their words). Pretty p*ssed off at them right now.

remal 85 Report post Posted October 8, 2015 HAHA good thread. Had no issues with my lights fogging up until the last week after the chap who needed to remove my right light to remove a dent from that side and since it's fogged up.I thought something was not right and could not the the issues other said about as it was only a week ago the light was out. Will be removing the light, drying it out and putting back on but not tightening the bolts right up as must be the case 1 rob275 reacted to this
