Leosille 17 Report post Posted May 26, 2016 Evening, I've just put my new wheels and tyres on and dodgy Rob forgot to mention that with standard suspension they will rub lol. Has anyone got some spacers I could borrow or purchase that they don't need, I'm in Coulsdon, Surrey. Thanks again Ryan. 1 long-gone reacted to this

nikndel 509 Report post Posted May 26, 2016 While we are on the subject if I wanted to space out a set of wheels say by 10mm is there a safe way of doing this?

Just to chime in, I think he just needs 10mm for the fronts temporarily until he can get some aftermarket coilovers! 1 Leosille reacted to this
Tareim 343 Report post Posted May 27, 2016 I barely had any stud left to put a nut on for the rear? Sent from my XT1572 using Tapatalk
rob275 1817 Report post Posted May 27, 2016 Well mine never fell off or came loose there was a good 15mm of thread I reckon. Sent from my ONE E1003 using Tapatalk
Varelco 211 Report post Posted May 27, 2016 Slip on spacers are ok as long as you have enough available thread. For M12x1.25 studs the minimum is 8 turns. One disadvantage with slip on spacers (primarily thin ones) is they aren't hub centric, which will mean the weight of the car is taken by the studs and not the hub. 1 Ade reacted to this
