chelseablue 8 Report post Posted May 14, 2017 Hi guys, as per title, what service does my car require? It's due for it's third service and first MOT, it's done 18500 miles, I ask this cos most of my cars have been much older and I normally do my own servicing, but for warranty reasons I need to keep the service history up to date, so will my car need an intermediate service or a full service? Thanks in advance
Lauren 2259 Report post Posted May 14, 2017 3rd is intermediate. Even numbers are full.
chelseablue 8 Report post Posted May 14, 2017 Thanks Lauren, Normally wouldn't let a garage anywhere near my cars, (only because they won't show the same care as I would) but don't want to invalidate the warranty.
jevvy 40 Report post Posted May 14, 2017 You can go to a Gt86 specialist like tuning developments ect if you live close! Any garage that used genuine parts won't invlidate warranty

Don't want to pay so much at Toyota when I could pay £100+ less for arguably better service elsewhere

It is a struggle for me to find a good one and the specialists are too far for some small things

It is a struggle for me to find a good one and the specialists are too far for some small things ive had alot of bodywork done at illiffes in market harborough. I dont think theyre neccesarily the cheapest but they dont cut corners at all and the chaps a family fried and would rectify any work that didnt come out as expected i had most of my interior sprayed orange about 28 items and also had my wing touched up where the previous owner had scraped and not repainted it properpy. Also lots of old cars ive had. So i can recommend them highly however id look for a bodyshop thats done alot of gt86's as they would be slow to remove parts ect as theyve only ever worked on my gt86 but they allowed me to remove my own bumper/wing in the car park to preserve labour costs : P

Lowe 191 Report post Posted May 16, 2017 Considering RRG Macclesfield isn't really that far away you'd be mental not to take it there - they live, breath and **** GT86's. People travel from all over the country to have Rich service their car. 3 Lauren, Mark-in-Stoke and vanko25 reacted to this
