Lauren 2259 Report post Posted July 3, 2013 Does anyone know if there is a switch or anything to alter the headlight beam pattern for driving on the right side of the road? Just wondered. I've got two euro trips coming up so could do with sorting it.
rob275 1817 Report post Posted July 3, 2013 Don't think so, most cars generally have two sets of lights. One being euro spec.

Lauren 2259 Report post Posted July 4, 2013 I'm not sure I'm going to bother for my trip at the end of the month to Germany as driving will only be in the daytime. However, I have another trip to Italy which will likely involve a small amount of night driving. Think I'll just buy some and leave them in the car for if and when I need them. Cheers. hbfieldii 0 Report post Posted July 5, 2014 when i came to England from the state my BRZ had to have a light conversion and they just centered the lights instead of completely pushing it over to the opposite side of the road. so you could probably just talk with a shop and they can get them positioned where you need them. Lauren 2259 Report post Posted July 6, 2014 This was a year ago! But, it's simply not worth the effort for a week or two of driving on the mainland. Mid summer I find I'm rarely driving in the dark anyway. I only stick them on if I know I'm going to have drive at night. A couple of beam deflectors is the obvious option really.
