Retrofit - Facelift headlights to Pre-facelift model (2014)

Hi all - has anyone retrofitted the facelift (2017+) headlights onto a pre-facelift (2014).

I have the 8-pin connectors on my so not sure if they just plg and play or if I need to move pins?

I'm considering this upgrade as some kind arsehole did a hit a run on my driver side headlight so I need to replace.. I'm not a fan of Valenti's but like the idea of the facelift with '86' in them.

Anyone done this before or have access to the pinout listing for the headlights pre and post facelift?
