Except during valve overlap when the exhaust pulses will interact with the intake pulses... 🤔 (second in from the right explains what I’m on about). However, it’s the two sounds layered together that I found unpleasant (regardless of whether they interact with or effect each other directly). Honestly wasn’t expecting much of a difference as I thought the drone was all exhaust noise (and probably is). However plugging the intake sound tube has made a difference in the car and the noise experienced has less ‘edge’ now...

The 2nd set are actually Valenti Revo semi-replicas - the indicators are different. I have the MY17 replicas and I'm happy with them - if the other set had been around when I bought them I'd have gone for them I think.

It will be much better directly connected as using FM, limits the quality to FM quality which is not as good as DAB as you are converting digital back to analogue of course.

A bit of heatsoak can really mess with engine starting, as the perceived air temperature is out of whack. I'm thinking about minutes rather than hours between starts though. An underperforming spark plug/ignition coil can lead to a weak start too. If it continues I'd think about inspecting them for signs of fouling, corrosion or arcing as well as checking battery condition under load. Shame the plugs are tricky to whip out.

Rich put a fuel cleaner in, but I must admit it went away... I would sometimes press the power button without the clutch if it's been sat a while just to prime the pump for a little bit (you'll hear it whine) and then start the engine. Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk

Nev is only good for parts. And even then it's touch and go... He's lost all motivation to actually do projects, he wants to be a retailer as there's less work involved Lovely little update today from Simon at Carson Performance, managed to sort the clutch issue so SHE MOVES! For the 1st time in over 3 years it is moving under it's own power! Just a couple of small bits to attend to and then it's off to the bodyshop on 12th April in preparation for it's first show since 2015!
