    Lmc,s build

For the second Saturday in a row I’ve been on the road since 6.45am and only just got home, but all i can say is a massive thanks to Mike at Tuning developments the guys there are magicians. This is how the car should have come from the factory. It,s 99% motorway driving home so havent had too much chance to give the car some beans but the few times i have have been exactly what i was looking for in the car. Anyway a few pics for anyone who’s interested

Tuning Developments - Super Res Catback

Quick update I received the exhaust in three parts : Header & Overpipe Midpipe Rear silencer I decided to wrap the header with DEI Titanium wrap to avoid heating the engine oil and bay too much. That was for the start of the week. This week end I decided to install the full exhaust in my tiny garage with my car jack stands, it took me the whole day which is pretty good knowing my exhaust is old and has 90 000km (~60 000 miles). I also installed a sound generator suppressor part I 3D printed It was dark by the time I could go out and try it out but I spent 40 minutes smiling. The sound level is a bit lower than with the original exhaust when cruising and that's without the sound generator. I didn't find any drone or noise I didn't want to create . Once you start putting some load on the engine, the sound becomes great ! It revs with a sound I could qualify of stainless steel sound. The exhaust really answers to engine load, if you rev slowly it won't be very loud, if you give the accelerator a dab, it will become more "dramatic". I really love this exhaust and I think it's what this car was lacking : sound and no torque dip (soon for me with my remap). If someone is interested I'll post some pictures / videos of the car with its new exhaust.

    New Red Gt86

Welcome aboard. Already committed on your other thread about reverse sensors. You're way better off getting an aftermarket head unit with sat nav in all honestly. The stock head unit is not very good.

    Reverse Sensors

Mine seem to work intermittently. The problem for me is that mine will work just fine most about 80% of the time and at other times I just get a continuous beep so it's probably the sensors themselves. I think it's just age and mileage.

    Reverse Sensors

I had in the past when I leave the car under the sun. Was really weird. It turned out to be a bad connection on the very left sensor. See what you local dealer can if it is under warranty. Otherwise get under the car and check the connections of the sensors. Start with the side ones first as the middle ones will be hard to get to without taking the exhaust off. The constant beep means that the system is not getting feedback from a sensor channel.

    MID Database insurance delays

Had a few days delay a couple of years back. Similar thing, I got stopped by some very friendly and understanding police officers 🤔. Luckily i had a copy of the documents on my phone, still didn't stop them giving me a 40 min 'chat' at the side of the road.

Does everything that guy touch turn to sh*t or what? Glad that no man or machine got hurt, that could of very easily been a different story!
