I'm sure you both think you're winning the argument and that the other person is a moron. In reality, you look equally foolish. Go outside for a drive, it's sunny. -
2 pointsNot wound up due owning oem brakes, but due you labeling everybody on stock brakes as not knowing how to drive, to rise selfworth by belittling others.

1 pointHope you all had a great summer and it was really good to see many of you at shows, track days and social events.😁 Just thinking what events we may want to do/ organise for the rest of the year. We have Fuel Coffee House meet tomorrow and Yakushi Show next weekend, but here are few more potential events to think of: Sunday, Sep 29th: Jap Show Finale at Santa Pod http://www.japshowfinale.co.uk/index.php?fbclid=IwAR00_SHI-kwCFC88Rz-a8RPVhc0Vu_FJVUBs32uFqJbZ_jxQK9KiTaMxGYk Sunday, Oct 6th: TRAX at Silverstone http://www.traxshows.co.uk/trax-silverstone-home (I know many people don't like TRAX 🙄) Sunday, Oct 6th: German vs Jap Bfast Meet at Ockham Bites Saturday, Oct 12th: Action Day Finale at Castle Combe https://castlecombecircuit.co.uk/shows/action-day-finale (we don't usually have many people interested in Castle Combe events) I am also doing track days at Thruxton on Monday Sep 30th and Silverstone on Saturday Nov 16th if anyone would like to join (both with Opentrack) Club track day at Bedford last year was popular, we can do it again, good for those who want to try track days for the 1st time (although check your noise level). May be wet (and cold) but its getting reasonably inexpensive. Would be great to hear wishes and suggestions!😎

1 pointHi Guys and girls, Came back from Tuning development yesterday, just had the NA package done. UEL and Super resonated exhaust combo. Sounds fantastic, no drone, no rasp; Can still have a convo while car is on but when you put your foot down you have that nice grumble. Its a very noticeable driving difference, making an already fun car even more enjoyable now i can finally feel slightly ASBO with my right foot. Big thank you to @Mike@TD.co.uk for getting it sorted for me and all the info i kept asking about, and to the other lad down there (sorry i didn't catch your name) for selling me into the turbo kit. Mike will give you sales commission i'm sure lmao. Going to be posting Dyno sheet and a video of the exhaust sound while driving etc tomorrow. As i tried to find this combo on YouTube before purchasing but could only find the Exhaust with standard manifold or UEL with normal rez/ no rez; even tried messaging a few forum users who have the setup if they had any clips. So hopefully if my mic does the sound justice it might help others to make an informed decision.

1 pointThanks Guys, some good advice. Will probably replace just the pads and fluid to start off with and see how I get on, with as KevinA mentioned, shorter stints...... Unless a cheap BBK conversion comes up 🙈😂

I have actually asked whether we can get a club stand or at least a dedicated parking space. I guess we can always meet and convoy to arrive early enough to park together Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk -
1 pointI used the NS2r in Time Attack street class, not so great on the 86. Would say a PS4 would be quicker especially in the wet.

Not sure we fit the bill for the autumn classic breakfast but the autumn motorsport day sounds possible. I tried to book a club display at that event last year, but they did not return my email. -

Will need to get there early about 08:30 otherwise it will get tight. -
1 pointA few years ago one of my old clubs (Hyundai coupes) arranged a meeting at brooklands and we couldn't work out why we needed to fill in a risk assessment and all meet at a certain gate at the same time. Turned out they parked us on display right by the entrance before we all went to the pub for lunch. Was a really good day. Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk

Turbo is the next awesome step -
1 pointBecause you seem to be talking mostly complete shite and coming across as one of those people who think that only their way is correct and everyone else is an idiot. Yet you don't actually seem to have a great deal of evidence or experience on the 86 platform to support what you are saying. You also put kisses at the end of posts, which for an old bloke is feckin weird 🤷♂️

1 point8:28 is a good lap but isnt that fast for a car of the spec. But its not down the brakes iv been quicker on STOCK CALLIPERS no problem, it the fleshy bit between the steering wheel and the seat the only thing slowing it down there. You see that STOCK CALLIPERS aren't the limiting factor, on a track that isnt that demanding on brakes.
-
1 pointThe ring is very easy on pads, just throwing it out there. Good pads and a stock calliper will work just fine for most agreed by most here, for HARD driving to achieve a consistent and repeatable pedal throughout the day a BBK is the most sustainable way forward.

1 pointThe AD08RS's are certainly a hefty tyre weight wise coming out at 10.8kg compared to the Freeform wheels at 8.8kg
