    MartinT's BRZ

Drives beautifully, my Scangauge now shows correct MAP (100 for atmospheric, <100 for vacuum, >100 for boost) up to around 0.7 bar (10 psi), which shows as 170 on the Scangauge, and the noise has gone. No more worries or 3000 rpm limit

Good news - it was just an exhaust blow in the TD super resonator, the crack being opened up under load and with revs. Phew, what a relief! I've got the 3-bar MAP sensor installed and Mark is just sorting out low rev fuelling to make it a little smoother on pulling away. I shall enjoy driving it home!

Use it on mine and hubby’s, never had a problem. That reminded me to do it tomorrow. [emoji106] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

They seemed to think it was a stress crack, not really to do with the supercharger. It hadn't taken a knock, as far as I know. Abbey welded it up for me and it's been quieter since.

    Lower seats

Just had a sit in, I will have to remove my hand I think to operate the levers. Although I have quite small hands for my size so you might just get away with keeping your hands on the wheel. I’m just about 6’3 with long arms and legs before i could never have my leg straight on the brake or clutch I had my legs bend around the sides of the wheel. now it clears a good inch or 2, pic below shoes my leg just resting on the brake pedal

I had the same problem for the 1st time yesterday. With mine it was the passenger switch that was flashing so after googling it i found that i opened the window and when closing it i held the button in the up position for another 10 seconds after the window shut and it was back to normal

    percolating kettle noise

FWIW I managed to drop a few dBs of white noise by sticking foam on rear wheel arches behind the interior. It was a nice change for moderate effort, but you can't do that with the front wheels particularly. The GT86 suffers from quite a lot of road noise, due to the lightness/cheapness objective.

    percolating kettle noise

Yes!! I've been trying to describe this sound myself and now you mention it it does sound like a coffee percolator. And yes, it happens on anything but the smoothest of roads. I am on std suspension and Dunlop Winter Sport 5 tyres - it happened with my PS4s too so I'm not sure it's the tyres. I've only really noticed it since I blocked the sound hole. It is very irritating though. I wish I could isolate it and make it go away.
