Thanks for your help on the Eonon head unit. I've just ordered a 7" model with the Subaru fitting kit (different from the Toyota one). Should be fun to install!

    Oil starvation on track

Mark fitted an Accusump for me couple of years ago and I’d definitely recommend getting one if you track the car regularly. I’ve installed some LEDs in the cabin so that I can see when the unit is enabled by the ECU and when the switch actually opens. In the dry, with good tyres (Cup 2) and when the oil is relatively hot, the switch will open on at least one corner at all the tracks I’ve driven.

    Oil starvation on track

I’ve run my racecar on slicks and R888s for the last three years with nothing more than a racerX baffle sump and oil topped up to the max mark on the dip stick. Now saying that I’m not sure I would still recommend it long term, For piece of mind given that my car os only driven on track as I’m in the middle of building my engine I’ve gone with the high flow Remax oil pump, killer B pickup, and an accusump which will be controlled by my AIM dash, alongside the baffled sump I’m hopeful that should address any concerns but I think the Accusump is a wise move at any level.

After collecting the wheels the car was filthy (Waze sent me down what effectively became a dirt track) so I gave the car a quick clean as I'd put my summer / track wheels on when I got back and they were the only clean bit! I got a new snowfoam just before Christmas - Bear Car Care Glacier and I must say I'm very impressed. First time I used it the foam was still on the drive and in the street the next day! Went out later and the foam is still on the driveway And some of the mud I removed!

Collected some new wheels today. They're Enkei RPF1's in 18x9.5" et38 and weigh 8.076kg a corner which, Google suggests, is the same as Rays TE37's in this size so they're definitely a nice lightweight wheel.
