GR Yaris who's going for it?

Hot off the press yesterday as the order books open for delivery January 2021: https://www.toyota.co.uk/world-of-toyota/toyota-gazoo-racing/gr-yaris/specs# I've already spoken to Richard at RRG. Going down Saturday to put a deposit down. I want this car! Obviously going for the track pack. Price is £33.5K reckon there may be an OTR tax to add though, will find out.

Would be a shame to get rid of the car after all this time and seeing you and I are the highest mileage owners in the UK from 1st owner of our respective cars [emoji14] I am aiming for 200k.....lol

Mark is going to buy it off me at a bargain price. At least that’s the plan.

    MFactory 4.67 final drive

As above on the speedo - that stays the same. Top speed - don't know. Can't remember what the rpm at 70 was before and don't remember what it is now either lol Sorry for being completley unhelpful lol

Good lord! That lot probably cost as much as your car! You don't need in-car stereo at all - you can probably hear your home stereo from wherever you're driving.

Each driver has a crossover to only handle its frequency range. Since the tweeter is only handling the treble range, adding a midrange driver only handling the midrange frequencies will not impact the overall average impedance of 4 ohms across the spectrum. What I want is vocal clarity as I'm not looking for a hi-fi installation what with my noisy engine and the poor cabin environment of any car. The Focals are good but the door units are not bass monsters and the top-dash tweeters are considerably better than the stock item but leave a hole in the midrange. After all, when I get home I have the big rig to give me what I want...

They'd better be doing something about the driving position. The previous gen yaris has you up high and with a horrid pedal position. Reminds me of driving a van.
