Yep, none of this has any evidence to support it is what will happen, but it is the most plausible I've seen. Until Toyota say something we shall have to wait and see.

I'm going with the Rogue EL as-is because the problem is specifically the heat brought into the engine bay and the proximity to the top hose in my car. I don't track or race it so I don't think I need to take any further precautions.

Many of the Ace models are machine made now whereas all the Rogue models are handmade and Mat is an artist when it comes to welding so I'd suggest the Rogue manifolds are better and so definitely not worth the stretch. I think you'll be very happy and glad I could help 👍

I've just spoken to Mark at Abbey and it looks like an installation date in July is on the cards. Excellent!

@Deacon thanks for your comments, they really helped me make up my mind. The extra to stretch to the Ace doesn't seem worth it, the Rogue looks like a great design.

I've spoken to Rogue and Abbey and the outcome is that Abbey are ordering me an EL manifold with overpipe for fitting on a future date. Although I love the UEL sound, Rogue convinced me that the EL has better flow characteristics. I may as well go for the best I can and it needs a remap anyway. Sent from my LG-G7 using Tapatalk

He lost me inside 2 minutes. Those renderings on the best car website were made by best car themselves, and as he mentions they've just cobbled together bits of other cars including the current GT86. There's a lot of wild speculation in the video. There haven't been any spyshots of camouflaged cars yet, no motor show concepts, nothing. A March 2021 launch seems pretty unlikely.

I’m personally glad that they’ve not switched to the new chassis with a turbo engine because I don’t think they’d get that sweet balancing chassis/ engine using one of the new modular Lego chassis that VAG group like to use to save a lot of money. I’ve said that I would be happier if they just stopped making the car altogether because they set out to achieve what they wanted and it was always down to the owners/tuning companies to fettle with them as much as they pleased.
