when I had fitted my JDL UEL I was getting similar to what you describe, turns out it was rubbing on the undertray so just reshaped the area where it was rubbing so no longer came into contact and no more noise
-
I can hear it very clearly with my headphones, could well be what has already been said, resonance combined with the thinner pipework
-
what are you going to do about reverse & fog light?
-
no, mine isn't that big and neither is the other 3 BRZ's I've seen
-
why is the rear plate so massive? I'd get a smaller possibly square one to smarten it up

http://www.fitteduk.com/ FITTEDUK INDOOR GERMAN CAR EVENT | MANCHESTER | 31ST JULY 2016 I'm going to say that it wouldn't be worth applying lol

the cheap one has a max of 3 presets I believe and does away with the gps that adjusts the damping automatically on the move depending on speed etc which isn't really needed for everyone, you can still manually adjust the front & rear damping on the move though and it's like half the price of the more involved kits

might've been the orientation of the image throwing you off, I'm sure I've seen one that looked like it was the other side once before
-
if you've been reading about the overpipe location on the US forum then it would be the passenger side for them which is driver side for us, it's why sometimes they say for LHD only as we have the steering rack that gets in the way
-
don't really need to have a huge amount of driving skill/experience, you can opt for the cheapest setup and have 2/3 presets, 1 for soft comfort driving (soft damping) and then 1 setting for track mode which then does all the dampening adjustment from inside the car
-
@Andrew Smith can I grab a passenger ride with you at the Curborough sprint day? would like to hear how loud the whine/noise is from the new prop from inside the car
-
surely that'd be a waste of a supercharger when a hammer would work?
-
think you've done a typo in your price, thought they were 750? although they are a bit more now, when I ordered mine with postage it came to 800
-
I should be able to join again, hopefully the bacon wont be as salty this time
-
can you not swap to the cheaper a/c if the condenser needs replacing?

atleast with the Subaru unit you have physical buttons to push rather than a vague touchscreen system with no feedback
-
@rob275 will be the man for this
-

-

ah you're the guy that owns that BRZ, I saw you driving towards the Bridge at Japfest had a slight scare at first seeing a red BRZ being driven away, thought it was mine first until I remembered I don't have a front license plate
-
I've not changed my droplinks either, only had an issue of it knocking on full lock with the camber set to max dialled it down a bit now and all fine

I might be there if I can get hold of those freebie thursday tickets again
-
it might be worth having a backup solution ready, maybe not spend money to be ready but have an idea ready to pull the trigger as I think it's something that they are starting to clamp down on it as a little while back someone in my town was pulled for stretched tyres after just buying a car like it
