probably a US market promo image as the exhaust tips end before the bumper which is in their regulations

sounds like they will just load a generic map onto your car, not an ideal way to remap the car to be honest as every car is different so one map for 1 car may not suit another one even if they are both standard it's worth taking a day out to go somewhere such as Tuning Developments, Abbey Motorsport or Fensport I'm from the south west and travelled cross country to Fensport to get it done properly and don't regret it at all, highly recommended

will you have a copy of the magazine at the open day to read? to lazy to go out and buy a copy -
did you get your car brand new or 2nd hand? if 2nd had the previous owner may have had a different head unit then put back to standard before selling and just forgot to reconnect the usb/aux bit?

IIRC you can disable the doors locking when the engine starts so you don't have that issue
