at the time of my remap I had replaced the whole exhaust system and a new air intake
-
it's worth it, when I had my car remapped I was told that my car was producing more power from it than another gt86 that was in previously with a full system (manifold back) so you really do get your moneys worth
-
I can't remember the exact figure off hand but I went for a thermal coated option (so most expensive) and including import charges etc it was close to 900
-
I went for JDL UEL catted based on their top reputation in the states, hopefully their cat is of good quality considering the price
-
are you sure? I thought I read somewhere that it was the final drive that was different, would love to see the gear ratios then
-
what's the FD ratio on the manual and what do you change it for?
-
yep there is one right near the fuel gauge, I used to get it when halfway between quarter tank and empty but not it seems to come on when I hit the red zone
-
yeah, a way forward to becoming deaf
-
nice to see that the hks manifold (with a cat) reduces the torque dip
-
looking forwards to seeing the new site

Unexpected things you like about the GT86

does it? not seen that I do have another like to add although its a generic feature on a lot of cars nowadays and that the the electric folding mirrors, very helpful lately with so many people having ridiculously bright lights sat behind me blinding me so just press the button and fold them in then hey presto, no more being blind :D -
my thought exactly
-
I've not bothered, but then again my manifold is titanium ceramic coated so shouldn't give out too much heat, as for Mod therapy, it sure does work, my only issue is I run out of money quick with that therapy

do you have reverse sensors? they'll be good enough as I've never had rear visibility so poor I couldn't see out the rear window at all, just blurry due to water but doesn't stop me from reversing -
welcome aboard, the car looks nice, I can never decide if I prefer the hatch or the saloon as my mind keeps changing on them
-
fair enough, a Porsche would be nice but I don't think I'd ever be able to afford to run one so would be a bit jealous :P
-
exactly this @Deacon do you REALLY want a Porsche? think of the expensive servicing and general day to day owning expenses of a Porsche and that is before anything goes wrong
-
Did anyone actually go? Haha Sent from my OnePlus One using Tapatalk
-
Noooo Jeff you can't leave us, however I will take that rear strut bar if you do part out and the flex A's if you go that far Sent from my OnePlus One using Tapatalk
-
yes, if I had to choose between the 2 then it would be that BRZ
-
I can only guess at something along the lines of this?

it's a setting that can be changed, the car auto locks when you start as a safety feature to prevent hijacking, the doors auto unlock when the engine is turned off -
your power steering solution sounds quite clever Dave, can't wait to see it finished and have a nose around it all
-
why hasn't he fixed it yet then? haha

I usually end up reversing beside a pump so facing the other way just so I can get to a pump that's rarely busy due to it being on the other side and means I don't have to pull the pipe over the car, really not an issue
