Unexpected things you Disike about the GT86

I've described how you can take out the blind spot and has stopped me from needing to turn my head therefore being able to keep my head facing forwards being safer -
it sure does, well mine does at least, might only get it in manual mode
-
fastest circuit in the UK according to the BTCC comentators

I've got my door mirrors angled so I don't have any blind spot, I can see both the 2nd & 3rd lane of the motorway from the 1st lane when sat correctly and if I want to double check to make sure there is nothing right next to me I just lean forwards slightly which changes the perspective of the mirror and I can see right next to me -

I can't say I've ever had an issue with visibility, you just need to adjust the mirrors correctly and you should be fine -
I wouldn't stand a chance in winning, the top spots seem to belong to you and Kev
-
a seat pillow it is then haha
-
I think Mike is just carrying on the joke from the TD meet where he was trying to come up with ways to afford the TD kit
-
have you adjusted the steering column at all to see if it will avoid your legs then?
-
have you got the seat jacked up to its highest position?
-
yeah it's longer geared hence why I think a more tuned/lower FD could hit 100
-
I think a tuned n/a could hit 100mph with the right launch, I hit about 93mph in my 1/4 test and that was without a proper launch just let off the brake and then floored the accelerator so could always be improved
-
I'd certainly be up for competing if I could get an FI kit
-
it's a tiny up arrow next to the gear number
-
is there a cost to just come and watch? as I used torque to give me a rough 1/4 mile time so don't need to spend £35 lol

I was dreading opening this thread expecting to see a Ferrari badge stuck on somewhere, glad top see that's not the case (I know there is a yellow one out there with Ferrari badges on it) people have been using lego tyres for this
-
I've been to loads of rallies over the years and marshalled on a few, great fun :)
-
it was a good first attempt and you can always look to the next event to do things better
-
yeah it was fun but very cold outside, definitely feeling the early start now, time for sleep shortly haha
-
you will need to jack the car up and remove the undertray to see if there is a bulge around where the 2 sensors are fitted that will likely mean there is still a cat in the manifold, our cars have 2 standard, one in the manifold, one in the front pipe after the over pipe
-
if you have 0 cats there is no chance in hell are you passing the emissions test without any fiddling, you might be able to sneak the visual check but definitely not the emissions
-
still got a reasonable turn out :)
