In today's 'where there's blame there's a claim' culture...
Tareim replied to Nicebiscuit's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
with all electronic aids on it will act quickly to bring you straight again -
yeah the front end was rather bent in, didn't have a good look at it but most likely a write off
-
Thanks I kinda wished I had done a lap with everything switched off but I think it's for the best that I didn't how can someone have too much fun?
-
really enjoyed the event, got to slide my car in a controlled enviroment as well as have some fun passenger rides sliding around in the AE86 and also with the lunatic... I mean Faith a lot braver than me going into those corners
-
pics would be great thanks
-
@KevinA how did you manage to attach it around the seat, did you use any existing bolts such as the standard seat buckle clip thingy
-
it would be a bonus if someone was able to bring them to better show off our club
-
ah good to hear it's the figure 8
-
what if they get recalled though?
-
thanks, I'm going to have to leave at like 5:30am to make it for breakfast lol
-
where is this mcdonalds? never been in the area before so not sure where to go
-
brands have a gravel section for the GT86 experience, this is stated on their website
-
I'd go with the Pro 2000, looks more comfortable and supportive
-
your videos started from the finish area and then done a cross over in the middle, surely they wouldn't upload that pic if that's not the route we're doing?
-
I'll have to take a look at it too, might be a nice option to have
-
yeah just a bit :/ here is the layout for those not on the FB event page
-
Yeah they are not doing the cut through figure 8 loop like your recent visit they are starting at the end of the straight and only 1 time round the course
-
roll cages are street legal as Rally cars that do multi venue races have to be road legal and get an mot, as for stock seats providing enough support, they do to a certain degree but I do find myself sliding a little bit when going around roundabouts enthusiasticly to the point where I would be coming out of the seat if it were not for the door + seatbelt
-
it's a shame they are doing the shorter track but looking forward to it
-
ah ok, wasn't aware what size tyres you were going for
-
does it definitely have to be 18x8? as I do have some 18x7.5 MG rims that fit going cheap
-
will have to look into it as you're 3 hours away from me thanks for the prices though, food for thought
-
what are your prices for a set of 4 215s delivered and also what's the price of 4 225s delivered both sets in 17 of course, likely to be ordering next year in time for TSS but not sure if I will have new rims by then hence the 2 different sizes
-
I would be more inclined to say that race cars are more relevant with Audi being the biggest example, their diesel technology is first tested in Le Mans 24 hr and trickles down to the road car, next will be their hybrid system from the r18 ultra
-
so what exactly are fensport doing with that box then Keith?
