what is that item to the right of the elm obd device?
-
that's part of the reason I chose the BRZ as it's rarer than the GT86
-
UEL + remap gives better midrange whereas EL + remap will give more top end
-
to get the boxer burble you will have to go UEL manifold, you can't get the boxer burble by modifying a silencer, and in my opinion it would be best to go for a known name with a good reputation as this is the most critical part of the exhaust system so needs to be done properly

I spoke with one of the guys with the Mazda's today at Beaulieu and he confirmed that Mazda and Toyota are partnering up (and it's official apparently) together but didn't go as far to say what the result will be, just that they are working together on projects, the Toyota guys on the other hand said nothing

what sort of driving were you doing? I'm sure I've read Lauren doing 30k on a set -
I'll add to the debate, I currently have STi pinks 15mm lowering springs on the car (before I bought it) and they aren't that great and will be swapping to a proper adjustable coilover setup to get the best out of the car

Chicken, can't beat a good breast... Or 2

I wouldn't mind having a dyno to see what my mods are doing pre tune
-
@knightryder I considered the ft86speed factory one before my purchase however for a little bit more money you can go for a well respected name over in the states that is JDL, also the JDL is slightly more UEL than the ft86sf
-
I've raced at Whilton Mill on a 115cc 2 stroke kart, great track
-
I've just got a JDL UEL catted manifold from the states, even without a tune it is 100% worth it already
-
definitely would advise holding out until the exhaust is done till you get a remap, also I would suggest looking at a better manifold rather than just overpipe/front pipe
-
4 setups? which are they I know of the flex and the meisters what other 2 have you tried? I'm currently on sti lowering springs so really would love a decent coilover set
-
I need to get me a set of flex a's after hearing that
-
my problem for TSS is I don't have a great deal of money to spend on tyres if I were to try and do the full series which is why I was trying to look for a decent grip in the dry budget for the 1A but from what everyone seems to be saying is I'm going to be out of luck :/
-
I use tapatalk on my phone for browsing the forum, much better
-
looks like the new blue
-
A new Mighty Car Mods video is out and they used Toyota 86s for their testing
-
in the wet for sure, are they that bad in the dry too?
-
Based on tyre reviews I was more leaning towards the nankangs but I was looking for a decent budget tyre for a dry track
-
what's the gp style race? 2 hours long with everyone falling asleep?
-
I've been considering either the Nankang NS2 or the Federal 595 as the 1b version of those tyres have had praise from members on here so hopefully the 1a versions are almost as good

post the mockups, would love to see it
