Will be following this closely to see how the situation develops

It is why I generally go over to the US or Japan as you get a much more reasonable price for exactly the same products! I wasn't sure whether or not Cosworth did a sports cat version of their equal length, so just thought I would ask the question after you obviously got the Cossie SC kit too! Would be good to have a chat about it though I think the sports cat will definitely take out the rasp, creating a much more "clean" sounding tone. When you consider how loud that is, imagine what I have to put up with on a daily basis with no cats and just a 2.5" straight pipe back to the catback

Very nice Mike, what manifold is it? The Cossie one?
-
It was! It was part of the reason why I went for it, as it was £283 compared with M Factory which charge in excess of £400 for the same product. Looking forward to it arriving
-
Send an invoice in the post.. although I can't guarantee I will receive it
-
Cheers fella, the price for the 2.1L kit on there is very competitive compared with the likes of Sumo Power etc, so wanted to check before I contacted them
-
Postage from Japan was included in the total cost Nige Was £60 fully tracked by air so for 2 packages that is fairly sensible. Customs shouldn't be too much fingers crossed and it will be worth it! Wouldn't they be best only if you want to go FI though Nige? I was thinking more of getting the HKS stroker kit as I am staying N/A to be honest. Wanted to go HKS 2.1L and then match it up with their new cams. But then again I could just wait that extra 6/7 months and see what other kits become available for N/A which will probably be better as more R&D happens. You FI guys have an easy job to get power you see

I know it is now saved in my favourites too, so this is only going to be a slippery slope! Of course mate, will probably get it fitted Late June/Early July time when I have some more money to spend on other goodies too. So will hand you the keys at JAE maybe? I will do a full breakdown on how it feels once it's been bolted on any way. Some great things being said from those over in the US Of A about it though.

Keethos' GT86 Journey Back To Health + Mods
JamesP1991 replied to Keethos's topic in Projects & Builds
It's all about that carbon vented bonnet, when I saw it on Saturday in the flesh at Castle Combe, all I wanted to do was steal it off your car -
A Gulf coloured 86 with orange and blue wheels is definitely something I would love to see! Someone has to photoshop that now
-
Awesome, was so surprised with the prices, even after shipping was included!
-
Welcome to the club fella, you'll find plenty of advice and help in these parts
-
Tough decision for you there mate!
-
Ohh don't remind me Jeff! The website is dangerous, I was like a kid in a sweet shop I did have a few other things in my basket but decided against them as it would have bankrupted me! Awesome prices though and I will be using them again! Just got that horrid wait for shipping now Let me know what you find

Following on from earlier, I should not have been window shopping at lunch time at work today, as I know I would buy something! And well the inevitable happened, and I bought both a shorter final drive (4.55) from Revolution and a Beatrush Master Cylinder Brace from Japan Parts. https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/44419 https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/44283 Only cost me £374 all in including shipping which is crazy! The girlfriend is going to kill me however haha

I know I said I would wait 6 or so months to see what other kits come available for N/A tuning, but at this price the HKS Stroker kit is SERIOUSLY tempting me next month, with the view of then getting the HKS cams the following month. http://www.nengun.com/hks/fa20-21l-stroker-kit Never bought from this website before though, can anyone shed some light at all?

I think the wheels look better without the centre caps because the caps are a bright red, which clash with the colour of the wheels too much! Without the BBS wheel design looks a lot sleeker. I'd try and get different coloured centre caps
-
I don't even bother to check mine!

This has potential to be a great thread haha! Here's my not so flattering mugshot: And in true Essex fashion the LOUD silver beast:

Japfest 2015 Photo's
JamesP1991 replied to will300's topic in Meets/Show & Shine - Pictures & Videos
Awesome pictures mate, I took all of 7-8 pictures all day too as I was too busy looking at all the cars! Might have to borrow the one you took of my engine bay if that is okay? I will of course give credit -
Not good! Any members we know in that area of London?
-
Looked great in the flesh mate, after talking with you and what you plan to do with the colour I am excited to see this develop
-
Hmm hope the person is okay and not seriously hurt. Do you know whereabouts on the Motorway it was? As I saw nothing on the M4 and M25 on my way home.
-
Great to see what the guys out there have done with their cars Can imagine that there a few which has had a lot of £'s spent on them!
-
I can't think of any others I will be attending off the top of my head for the time being! Well I spoke with Stan at Snetterton as he has one fitted on his Sprint Series car, he said it made a massive difference to the in gear acceleration, as obviously all of the ratios shift left. For £400 odd quid it seems like a very cost effective solution to making the car that bit more aggressive, and after Adrian mentioned it to me last Friday I think it is pretty nailed on in the coming months
