I bought my touch up from the Toyota shop on ebay. It was only a fiver. I bought my Valenti's from the speedline and i cant fault them to be honest, quick to reply, quick to ship and they were a bargain.

I have the Eibach/SPC lower control arms, they are a no frills, inexpensive option. The reason I went for them is that they use a bush on the subframe end and the camber is adjusted by an eccentric bolt at the other end, there are no rose joints and threaded stud to corrode and wear (I dont like fitting exposed rose joints to a road car, they simply don't last)

+2 Farecla clay mitt. Easy and effective, wouldn't bother going back to a clay bar.

In short no, TPMS won't be having any impact on the prices, why would it? As with any car, depreciation is exponential, you will find prices are levelling off as they drop to the early teens. As for changing wheels on a car with TPMS you just take the sensors out and put them in the new wheels, not really the end of the world.

The reason you are struggling for an answer is because your question is a bit vague. There isn't really an ideal range as such, it's personally preference. Depending on how concerned you are, just aim to keep it in line with the stock wheel weight (9.1kg) and consider anything lighter as a bonus.

Ignoring the cynics who believe age adds validity to their point of view, I'd probably opt for of Nokians, they seem well received and offer good consistent performance (even if they aren't all out the grippiest tyres). Once I've managed to kill my Primacy's I'll be trying something from their product line.

I'd be surprised if you can get much better than that tbh, thats very good for a 20 year old.

Hello mate, i've replied to your PM. Mods can this thread be closed please

As the title says I have a New unpainted 5 axis rear spoiler for sale. Arguable one of the nicest spoilers for the GT86/BRZ. Change of plans means this is no longer required. I'm looking for £210 posted ****PRICE DROP NOW £120**** Please note that this spoiler will leave the furthest 2 holes exposed when fitted to a bootlid with the stock spoiler.

In the market for a exhaust system - One that isn't too loud!

Every exhaust thread that pops up at least one person recommends a Milltek despite all the quality issues, I don't get it? @Collateral Avoid that trash, don't buy a Milltek. Stick to a resonated option as they quieter and less droney. Future proof yourself too, if you are considering freeing up other sections of the exhaust then you will need a quiet cat back to keep the noise levels in check as these cars quickly get loud when you change out other exhaust components. However If you aren't then there is less emphasis on having one of the quiet systems. Cobra, Perrin, Blitz, Greddy all have good options which aren't too loud, the invidia Q300 is another good option but it is very quiet if left as a catback only mod. -
Your best options are the likes of the Admiral/Elephant groups and Sheilas wheels, experiment with adding and removing parents if you still live at home. You will have to bare in mind insurance prices have gone up again this year though.

I was going to say (before it had already been said) that the TD turbo kit is a tasty proposition. Turbos tend to get forgotten on this chassis.
-
Have you considered he may of had steering wheel controls on a previous car? Naive or facetious, I can't tell.
-
I love the new dash, much more modern, the revisions are all good except that front bumper which is a bit marmite. Unfortunately Seb i won't be buying one, no fault of the car its just there are many other cars for me to try I doubt I will ever buy the same car twice.

+1 to the MTEC shift springs. Great mod.

Guilty pleasures. What would you give up your GT86 for?
Varelco replied to Nicebiscuit's topic in Non GT86/BRZ General Chat
I had one of these for a hire car for 2 weeks. I loved it and thought it looked good too... I wouldn't say no... -
When i find the time: Autobrite Magifoam pre wash Wash with AG Shampoo Clay with Farecla G3 clay mitt Machine polish with Menzerna Super Finish SF3500 on a 3M blue finishing pad (minimal correction needed) Polish up the exhaust tips and clean the glass (not sure what to use on this yet, possibly Autobrite Repel Advanced but its expensive) Wipe the car down with diluted IPA Then a coat of Sonax Xtreme Protect & Shine Hybrid NPT. This should take me a full days graft. My aim is for the car to look glossy and to be as hydrophobic as physically possible, the better this is the easier it will be to clean and the longer it will stay clean.

+10000 I really don't understand why Toyota struggle so badly to fit decent offset wheels to this car.... They should have a word with some of the German car manufacturers, they do well in the wheel fitment department.
-
I've lowered mine 25mm on Tein luxury masters and the ride quality hasn't really changed at all. Would highly recommend them. Coilovers are a waste of money if you are only looking to drop the car for cosmetic reasons
-
Absolute weapon.
-
Thats right, your fitment will be flush to the wheel arch with that set up and you won't scrub, no spacers required. If you want to see what it will look like google our cars fitted with TSW wheels (such as their nurburgring or interlagos) they only offer a 5x100 fitment in 8" width ET35 offset.
-
The ET35 in either size or width would be the choice I'd go for as they will fill the arches better. An 8" ET35 rim makes for flush fitment on this car which looks ideal. Recommended tyre size for an 18x8 would be 225/40.
