Being fitted on the 26th £229.
-
That's not correct. On the upgrade, there is nothing external other than the aerial on the passenger side A pillar:- Touch & Go DAB options http://gt86.org.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/1354-Touch-%26-Go--DAB-options Post 52 applies

We're going for the Toyota official add on. I have confirmed with Customer Services that the £229 price on their blog is the recommended fitted price. Will call at the dealers later.

Washed the 86 today. After a snow foam / blast off, there was very little dirt left. It felt really slippery too when washing with a mitt & dried off really easily. Impressed.

Hi, I've seen some in Alcantara but was hoping to find one in black leather / red stitching to match the car interior. Any suggestions? Cheers, Simon

Instrument binnacle pod - in leather?

It's a doddle. One screw, lift the front & pull. AJ kindly did a quick tutorial for me too. Top man IMO. Wife very pleased too. -

Received the leather covered binnacle today. It's a work of art! Thanks to AJ. Lovely chap to deal with. Will fit tomorrow & post pictures:) -
How does the car feel post map? A map plus panel filter is our limit.
-
I certainly wouldn't know where to start myself. Indigo major in Japanese stuff, primarily Scooby. They say the ECUTEC for the 86/BRZ is coming soon.
-
So, where in South Wales can do the ECU Tec thing? I've been to Indigo before for a RR day in my old Brera.

Ordered ours from AJ. Looks amazing in the pictures so can't wait to receive it -
Tried Armour All Shield last week & it rained today for the first time. Given how easy it was to use (literally on & off), seems impressive

I'm in the Neath area

I'm not sure I want a map that I can fiddle with from a stalk. Can it just be mapped with the best map & leave it at that? Cheers, Simon

Official 86 / Brz 2017 update details
Squadrone Rosso replied to Deacon's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
The steering mounted audio controls would be a welcome addition. Is that a slusher? Shame they didn't fit TCT/DSG. -
Ours hasn't been out since being washed on Saturday. It's having a polish & wax. I did the roof, bonnet & boot tonight. The rest tomorrow
-
We've got one on ours with heated seats. Looks great, finishes it off nicely:)

The Autoglym wipes are ok but I prefer & carry a small atomiser bottle filled with Autoglym rapid detailer and a couple of microfibres in the car. Bird poop is evil stuff

Did the 86 & Angry Panda yesterday:- And my other love today:- Great weather here in South Wales

Unexpected things you like about the GT86
Squadrone Rosso replied to Nicebiscuit's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
Now that I've finally got the hang of the keyless locking (RTFM, not listen to the salesman) & thanks to the tip on here to unlock both doors at once, I love the feature. The fact the interior light comes on as you walk up to the car is cool too. -
It's confusing! Post 12 shows a screen grab off My Toyota. Clearly states T&G+.
-
That's where the confusion lays. We ordered T&G+, the my Toyota portal confirms this, as to Toyota customer services but the dealer says an L not a H so updates cost......
-
Well. Dealer updated the maps today as a goodwill gesture but the jury's out on whether or not I get a further 5 updates for free as per Toyota's insistent. FYI, these are the versions in question. From this:- To this:- I have to say I like the system, as does my wife. It's slick & easy to use, the JBL sound is very good (if a little too bassy) and the HF calling is superb. We miss voice dialling & steering wheel controls though

The MPG. 312 miles, almost 44 litres, 33mpg. Not driven slowly either. To put this into perspective, my V6 Brera on the same trip last year did 17mpg!! The 86 is way more fun too.
