They are. I've used them in another application. Still better than the primacies IMO but wouldn't choose them for the 86... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Be grateful you don't have it... It's a right pain if you want to run multiple sets of wheels - you have the choice of fitting sensors to every set of wheels at vast expense, or having a light winking at you half the year, plus making sure the 'right' wheels are on when MOT time comes round...

Seen at Geneva yesterday. Toyota C-HR

Not sure about this. Very fat arse. Of what they showed at Geneva I thought the Renault Scenic was quite slick... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Well that's what it's all about... Got badly put off stiff cars by an Abarth 500. No suspension travel - the thing was awesome on smooth Tarmac but would try to kill you if it hit a mid corner bump... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Haven't you still got fundamentally less spring travel on those than the stock suspension though? There's presumably a limit to how much rough road they can take. Must bottom out eventually I'd have thought... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New 2016 Valenti Sequence rear lights

What, you saw an Audi using its indicators?!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I agree. If I'm honest, when I bought it I thought of it as a 'poor mans Cayman' but now I wouldn't swap. Just enough of everything for the road. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm going to try for just a small slice, and eat that if I can... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That question is fairly simple I think. There's actually little difference between b6 and b8 in terms of damping. But b8 just has shorter stroke to match with shorter springs. So given that shorter springs are by definition likely to need to be stiffer, a b8 set up is likely to be firmer. So as far as I can tell the pro kit b12 is b6s and relatively mildly shorter eibachs. Going to try that, as I could always put the stock springs back on with the b6s if it's too much. I've looked at coilovers, but like you I'm looking for an improved road set up, and the spring rates just look too firm for the road and typically suspension travel is reduced which seems to be the last thing the 86 needs. Bet I've got even less money for parts than you have... [emoji12]. I've got kids instead... Plot thickens... Was just going to order B6s but have found I can source the B12 kit with Eibach springs as well for a similar price. Probably daft not to... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Unexpected things you like about the GT86
Nicebiscuit replied to Nicebiscuit's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
People are hugely surprised what I can get in mine. To be honest they're shocked the kids fit. But still not quite as good as when we turned up for the kids school camp over 4 up in an Abarth 500 with all our camping gear... [emoji1] -
Just posting this here as I just bought another set of wheels from this seller and he was a nice genuine chap. These are rather nice too if someone is after a rally look or really awesome winter wheels. Might interest someone... https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/161982062949 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

RWD + snowy car park = fun [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
You're kidding right? It's jacked up about 12 feet at the back...

Well, certainly the week after mine went on the temp was in the upper teens for about a fortnight... Been a really weird one this year... -
I think it looks OK actually - probably cause of the style. Just looks gravel-spec.

I've just got into the habit - mainly cause of the ski trips. But this is the first year I've had them fitted to both cars. The main bonus isn't so much that I can get around - as you say we don't get that much. The main bonus is that you get to PLAY [emoji48]. I think they work by magic. All the traction you want until you decide you'd rather go sideways [emoji3]. I'll be a bit sad if everyone else catches on - right now people just think I must have epic driving skills as I completely fail to get stuck in a car that everyone knows should be hopeless. The diff doesn't hurt either... -

I love my winter tyres ❤️ -
Ah, yes - how stupid, they're right next to the airbrushed picture of a polar bear eating a milky bar.

To finish it off how about a set of white racing stripes? ;-)

Yes - good choice. Suits it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

To be fair I had to go up into the hills a bit to get that shot, but it'd have been rude not to. Plus it was fun watching the disbelief of people in 4x4s as I merrily trundled past. There are still a lot of people who just don't realise that RWD on proper winter rubber is STILL better than 4wd on part worn summer tyres. -

PM me your address and I'll post you a boxful... ;-) -
Not a trader - a private individual, and I told him I would, as he was interested in my car and hadn't realised Impreza wheels fitted them. Just returning a favour as he kindly delivered my set FOC to where I was working... :-) Really only posting in case anyone fancied them - doubt anyone would have spotted them on my thread...

So do TD include twin chutes with the remap, or do you only need those when you install the turbo kit?
