Got a feeling mine was... Never mind - I'll read the manual and turn it off. Don't mind them normally but this one is a bit keen. It would have me in sixth before I'm out of Sainsburys car park if I did as I'm told... :-D

Isn't the Eco shift indicator thing a mandatory EU thing now? Got a feeling I read that somewhere. Seems a bit daft on one of these, but there you go...
-
I got one of those emails earlier that promise to make it larger. Does anyone know if they're legit?
-
On 2 - ignore the daft change up light if I were you. It appears to make little sense... And mine seems to like VPower better than anything else - to the extent I thought I might as well get a Shell points card. Won't do it any harm though - even the odd fill of standard 95 if you'real stuck...

It's is a ridiculously small knob. My wife laughed when I showed her it...
-
That's a top tip - thanks for that...

The best thing to do if you want to change direction in a Viggen is to sell it and buy another that's facing the right way... Nevertheless I have a huge soft spot for them. Just sold a stop gap mildly tweaked 9-5 Aero, and never has man travelled so fast, so comfortably for so little cash. Flawed, but lots of character and stupid cheap now. Quite fancied a Lotus, but I have a family. The 86 is surprisingly livable as a practical daily driver. Like the Enkeis. Have you found a decent price for them?

Hello. Assume you managed to crack the 9-3 bulkhead? ;-). Another ex-Saaber here. Enjoying mine enormously. Think it might need a turbo eventually though :-D
-
Perhaps you should give Chris Evans a call? ;-)

That's a neat looking install. Looks like it's supposed to be there...

I only came in for mudflaps....
Nicebiscuit replied to Nicebiscuit's topic in RRG Macclesfield (Toyota)
A 'womanly' exhaust would probably look a bit odd... ;-) Anyway the rest of the car does that - especially its hips. Looks like a Williams sister at the back. Sort of. And yes I will indeed be tempted, in time... Two sets of wheels to save up for first... -
...and I noticed after I left that they'd kindly hoovered the car as well. Most appreciated! That said, if I'd known they were going to do that I'd have had the mudflaps fitted one by one at two week intervals. [emoji48] Also got a neat video where one of the team showed me under my car and demonstrated that all the bits that should be there are in fact there. I think it was going a bit far though when he suggested that my exhaust was showing signs of being a bit feeble and should be replaced by something more manly* * that last bit didn't actually happen ** but nevertheless would have been true
-
True enough. Spiritually Italian though... :-)
-
Utter bargain - especially the black ones which look good! I'd have had some if it weren't for the tyres I already had...
-
Ah no the basic Italian cars are the ones to have. Driven in the Italian style - foot flat to floor at all times, one arm on the windowsill and the other hand on the horn. They can get from a to b quite quickly assuming you avoid using the brakes at any time. Italian brake pads should last the lifetime of the car...

So the Fiat 124 spider is finally out... Was looking forward to this but unfortunately it looks a bit awkward. Suspect it'll go nicely as that 1.4tb engine is great, but I'm not sure I'd want to look at it every morning. Shame...
-
Seriously - brand new for £5400? What a bargain. Great little cars...
-
I'm with you. Glad some people like it though... Looking at it again the main issue is that it's too wide and low for the frontal styling.
-
I like the random snippets of English text...
-
Dammit!
-
And why not? I think it's great fun. Love the wheels. Just don't close your eyes and rely on 'the force' when reverse parking it... ;-)
-
Exactly that - I see Nigel32 has the other end covered. [emoji41] As I said though - I'll only win if something is terribly wrong. I kind of hope Nigel32 wins. [emoji4]

Cool. Growing up in the depths of Yorkshire rallying has always been my first love. Shame how far it's fallen... Even I barely noticed Wales Rally GB was happening last weekend... :-(
-
I'm going to be strategic and go for a round 300. (I suspect something will have to fall off for me to win though...)
-
Got these. Any good?
