Really suit the black car. Good value for the weight...
-
The manual definitely says you have to do the 1000 miles/4000rpm thing....
-
I like your wheels with the yellow pinstripe. What are they?

Getting it back tomorrow. Yesssss! (I have developed a deep and possibly unfair loathing for the blameless Vauxhall Corsa) -
Best colour [emoji41]. The stripe looks good too...

I do quite fancy a retrim in Alfa style tan leather though... Maybe one day. Cloth seats are nice and comfy though and look fine...
-
That's nice. Very reclined though ;-)

Currently a winter set for the Citroen, and a set of Saab alloys for a car I no longer have. Those are wearing the winter tyres destined for the Toyota... So there'll be more shortly...

Euro Tour over the Austrian Alps, Dolomites and Swiss Alps

I'm sure you'll be fine. However desperate, I don't think anyone would try to cling to the underside of a GT86... -
Why though? Never had it on any other car... The stuff stinks as well for the first couple of hundred miles...

A spot of good news (I think). Phone call from the body shop to say they can bash out the panel after all. I'm quite pleased with that - much preferable to having whole new bits welded on... I'll be impressed mind - was quite bent - but I've seen some serious skills in this area before - it's amazing what a decent panel beater can do... -
I'd hardly call that a production run [emoji1] '2016 BRZ, Sir? Would you like the blue one, the white one or the black one?'
-
Not from round there but pass through now and then as my family live around Crystal Palace. I'll keep an eye out for you :-)
-
Of course you could do what I did, don't run it in, get someone to run into it instead... [emoji6]
-
Well, it's got to be blue if you go for the Subaru, hasn't it? :-) Now stick something on the calendar so you don't forget you've bought it... [emoji6]

Just been out for yet another drive for no reason

Frankly, on a Sunday 7:30 seems plenty early enough. Hardly anyone seems to get up... -
How on earth do you agree on music at the meets? [emoji6] And the thought that Rob was born in the nineties makes me feel VERY old. Surely that was only a couple of years back? [emoji15]

Feeling slightly grumbly. Initial estimate of 'seven working days to repair' has turned into 12-15 after they get the parts, which has only just happened. I wouldn't mind, but that's two extra weeks in a Vauxhall Corsa - hadn't mentally steeled myself for that :-( -

Yes. If you don't do this, then you probably bought the wrong car... -
There are differences of opinion. To summarise a recent thread when I asked... - Toyota advice is as you stated. But within that limit give a engine a good workout and avoid putting load on the engine in too high a gear. - Some favour using the engine with enthusiasm from the start. No one has reported any adverse effects. Me? I'm a coward and stuck to the Toyota advice (with one eye on the warranty just in case I had any teething troubles.)
-
Ooh. I'm going to fit a Microwave in mine... Pot noodles on the go.
-
Well mines not quite right then, as I never use the internal boot release (simply because I forget it has one...). I'll have to keep an eye on it and work out what scenario triggers it. I think it's when the car is locked but I open the boot with the fob. Though can't be quite that simple as it doesn't do it every time. Possibly my alarm isn't set quite right for the Primo lock set up which isn't as sophisticated... In the meantime it's only a minor niggle.

I have to say the optional diamond quilted leather in Riceburners gt86 Aero was gorgeous. But it's still basically a quality aftermarket retrim rather than a factory job, so could be done later?
-
I think so. Normally Subaru just do a three year warranty, but on the BRZ they had to make an exception else no one would have bought it, so I believe they basically mirrored what Toyota offered...
