Hi, Is anyone using a child seat on the back of their car and how easy are they to use? I assume the passenger front seat would have to be moved all the way to the front to make access possible. Does a passenger still fit "comfortably" at the front with the seat slided forwarded? I wonder if it's too much of a compromise. Thank you,

Sorry to hijack this but what RON petrol does Toyota/Subaru recommend for a standard car?

2013 Pearl White GT86 TRD, cheapest in the country

What is the spec of the car as it stands and its price? -
Lauren, that's the sort of mileage that I will be doing and I want a car that is involving to drive although most of my mileage will be motorway. What sort of mpg figures do you get and do you have any pics of your car with the TE37s? Does the car drone with your exhaust mods? I hated my Miltek in the Forester around 70 as it droned but it sounded nice when you opened her up.

Thanks guys for the warm welcome, Omer I pass by Maidenhead on my daily commute so it would be good to meet up when you are free. Lauren, what mileage do you do monthy? I do ~2k miles a month and at the moment I use mostly my wife's 120d but if I buy the GT86 it will not stay in the garage but get used. If the auto is much more economic in reality than the manual I am tempted to get one but I'd have to drive a manual as well to see how they compare. The 6-speed gearbox of my previous Forester STi was one of its best features so if the 86's one is as good (or better) I can understand where the manual guys are coming from.

nikndel aren't all standard 5 yr warranties transferable to the new owners? Kevin, I'll take on your offer to show me what a 86 can do and will buy you a coffee, I'll send you a PM shortly

Yep, it was a Toyota dealer but I'd rather buy private.

Hi, I am thinking of buying a GT86 and test drove an automatic one today; I am not a fan of automatic cars and never owned an auto before, I didn't even know the GT-86 is produced as an auto but I was so surprised! Gear changes were fun with the paddle shift and as a daily driver I think I may enjoy it better compared with a manual, I have to test drive a manual though to be able to compare. The only thing that put me off was that the rear diff had a slight weep as a result of which dust was stuck on the rear diff cover, something which you normally on cars (of any sort) with higher mileage. The car in question only had 24k miles. The other 2 manuals that were also for sale by the dealer were clean as a whistle. I would love a Giallo one but they are too expensive for me yet, may have to wait a year or so. Cheers, fpan
