I could do part of the run on day one, unfortunately I cant spare four or five days Every year me and some friends do a similar run starting from Stirling then up the west coast, then the 500 miles route, plus back down the east coast, we usually do it over a weekend. My sons school is closed from 25th March to 11th April, most areas in Scotland have roughly different dates.

Standard Michelins a bit unprogressive in the wet?
RichieK replied to Nicebiscuit's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
I found the standard Michelins very slippery in the wet. Swapped them for Contisport 5s. Massively better in all ways, especially in the wet. You can still get the backend out in the wet if you're really pushing hard, but it's very progressive and predictable. Very planted in the dry. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Great videos, amazing car, best hillcimb in the world! Thanks for sharing

Nice one - maybe see you there

Cool, is that the one at Ingleston? I've never been - I'm free that day so might head along

Three Scottish members is enought for a meet I would have came along to Knockhill to spectate but I'm away on my summer hols on the 11th. I dont have any plans to track the BRZ - I used to do a lot of trackdays but I always had a second car for that... down to one car now.

I appreciate the sentiment There's got to be somone up here who wants a meet/run? ...anyone?

Would anyone be interested in a meet somewhere in central Scotland soon? The long summer evenings make it ideal for a wee midweek evening run

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. I've no plans for it, I'm happy with it as standard. I used to do a lot of trackdays, but I'll probably just do road runs in this. Good to hear its comparable to the Elise. I'm still building up my confidence in the BRZ so its hard to make a fair comparison yet. I'll hopefully meet some of you on a run sometime soon.

Hello, from another newbie in Scotland. Nice colour!

Hi all, Just traded-in my Mini Cooper for a BRZ. Loving the BRZ, really well balanced car. The Mini was my daily driver - I have an S1 for fun, which is now going up for sale. I chose the BRZ to replace the Mini and Elsie as its fun and reasonably practicle - best of both worlds. Are there many Scottish owners on this forum?
