Power wise a I agree little or no improvement. Driveability is a different story. The engine feels more responsive and urgent to throttle inputs. This makes it feel faster to me

Fair enough, if I was turbo I would avoid too due to MAF coating. Think ur ok N/A

K&N fits well and engine pulls much better

I saw a picture of a disintegrated HKS filter, green foam all over the MAF. I'd replace.

Car is back from having its second oil leak fixed. It was due to poor seal on the crank case, all sorted now Fitted K&N panel filter and removed the foam from the sound generator for more noise The OEM one was looking a bit dirty

No differences on the 2012 cars then? Mine is a 2012 but never dyno'd it

Tactrix looks a good option and I'm happy monkeying with it. Love the ease at with which you can swap maps with ecuTek. Wonder why the other options can't do this or the other features?

If my car had less power than an unmapped car I would be a bit gutted. Rolling road tuning is the way to go but costs ££££

I think the remap is worth it just for the shift blip.. That and a bit more power is attractive. The cost however is slightly too high to make me commit. Seems too expensive

It will never beat a proper sealant. But if, like me, free time is at a premium.. Then it's the next best thing

iPhone over Bluetooth audio

Hi I have a generic wifi obd adaptor that works fine. I only have issues with setting the auto A/C. If you have an iPhone you have to use wifi rather than Bluetooth dongle. If you have android then you need a Bluetooth dongle I think. The one I have looks like the below. Hi I have had an oil burning smell for a while but this weekend it got a lot worse. I wasn't near a dealer so called at a garage near me at the time. He has pointed out a lot of oil gunk on the manifold, still damp. It seems there may be a small amount coming from the usual crank case cover area, but more from the front. Going to call the dealer tomorrow, but was wondering if anyone had any idea of other causes for the leak other than the crank case seal.

Having been under the engine to look for the leak I agree it is a very tight fit, struggled to see much, working around the lump looked impossible. Looks like your spider senses are good Nigel

Feeling rough as today. My little one brought home a sickness bug so it's been a fun weekend, over the worst of it now I think but won't be coming today, gutted
