Northern Meet/Open Day @ Tuning Developments
Gringosteve replied to Mike@TD.co.uk's topic in Tuning Developments
Will be coming up in the RRG loaner car as mine is still in repair -
Mine squeak at low speed at the moment anyway. May look at the Ferodo, don't fancy reduced bite of cold Stoptechs. Wonder if any of the slotted discs are worth trying?
-
I think it's almost time to replace the front pads and maybe discs. Before I buy the OEM I wondered if there were any better options for a similar price. Ideally don't want to increase dust output significantly and use the car on the road (b road fun to work)

Engine is now out and work is well underway thanks to Riceburner and the team

Lol that's unique

I have had news back from Rich. It seems the car had a variable valve timing replaced when it was new. The seal on the timing cover is the culprit, in assuming the original repair was not up to scratch. Can't wait to get her back on the road

That's the exact spot, didn't realise it was dodgy camber! There's a similar spot on the dual carriage way through handforth dean -
