How many miles has it covered?

It's Macc RRG all the way for me Thanks Nigel, are they both known issues?

Might be worth buying that mod you were looking at now. Code is: CUKFLASH Gets you 20% off up to a maximum of £50 discount. Minimum spend £20.

Would look epic on my car, but would rather spend the £300 towards a remap. Good luck with the sale

Think it will sheet with volume of water. This is just drizzle as it has rained this afternoon. When I drove off it mostly poured off the vehicle. Will see when I clean it if it still sheets Gets amazing reviews on detailing world etc, seems to defy physics lol

Haven't cleaned since applying and have covered 200 miles:

Good shout thanks mate

I got the car on ramps today for a nosey to see if I could see any evidence of oil leaking. I didn't have to look far. The heat shield : The bolt for the earth cable under the variable timing: The other end of the engine at the front: Did some snooping with the fiber optic camera and found plenty of wet oily bits: Back to RRG I guess, not sure where it is all coming from

Swapped to a magnetic black Milanese loop

I think the 86 seems more air-tight than previous cars I have owned and mists up easier. It maybe the smaller cabin size..

After a wash and quick seal with Gyeon Wet Coat last weekend

Nice one thanks mate

No worries, I have access to proper Ramps

Do they all appreciate in value?

Where should I look to check to see if that is the culprit?

Seems I may have another leak elsewhere. Car and engine bay smells of burnt oil and there is a slight white "steam" off the engine when I lift the bonnet

Car has been sat on my drive most of the week as i worked in Budapest this week. Will check the hydrophobic properties after I have actually done some miles

Supagard on a used car - worth it?
Gringosteve replied to Mark_Swaddle's topic in Cleaning & Detailing
You can buy the supaguard kits on eBay for like £30 or less. The interior protector is ok. Probably better sealants out there. For £200 you probably get a 17 ur old garage monkey that puts it on without prepping, so you seal dirt and unpolished paint. Probably better investing in a detail elsewhere -
Damn that car looks epic!!

What sort of gains can you get with this

How many miles have you done with the filter

I agree, this is the next best thing or for use between details for busy people

I was at Southport Air Show yesterday to see one of the Vulcan's last outings. Was sad to think this beast won't be flying after this season..

It seems to have worked for many many people. I was sceptical but the finish is great. It's the longevity I need to test. What would it take to convince you smudge? http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/gyeon-q2m-wetcoat.html
