That's really odd, what elm device do you have. Here are my settings Make sure your car is listed as a Toyota GT86 in the settings. I guess it may be worth deleting your car and trying again or trying a different ELM? If you live near Stockport you can try mine
-
Also some ELM devices struggle to get extended PID according to the app
-
Do you have an 86 or BRZ? BRZ may use different PID. Works ok in mine using 2012 pack (mine is a 2012)

I added a Rugged Armour case as I'm used to GShocks and keep knocking it. The case is a bit bulky though so may be swapping for something thinner Here it is naked:

Gringosteve replied to Quickclicknick's topic in ICE/Electrical
Having read a few posts, DAB on the standard head unit requires an additional module and a windscreen mounted aerial -

Has anyone tried Yoko Parada Spec 2? They used to be brilliant for my old EP3 but they are getting long in the tooth.

Unexpected things you like about the GT86
Gringosteve replied to Nicebiscuit's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
This is brilliant but I replaced the bulb with a 16 LED white bulb so the effect is much more noticeable. The OEM bulb was like a candle! -
Where do you live mate. I have an OBD reader so can see if there are any other codes on there if you need

Free sound generator on/off mod using 12v cover from glovebox
Gringosteve replied to DanJ's topic in Modifications
I like the noise it makes under engine load and rev matched down shifts. But will give it a go -

I have never seen 40mpg but happy I hit 29 avg even with spirited driving to work. Important when you drive 70 miles per day for work -
What does the blow by canceller do??

Magic will sort something out, thanks Rich

If all else fails it looks good on my sofa
-
It is now clean at least. Will have a look on the morning to see if it looks any good on the dash. If not will probably go back into storage
-
That's my fear. Cleaning it up now to see how it looks offered up
-
Great thanks everyone. Guess mine have been over tightened
-
I tested the GTR skin on a journey to Wales this week, works great
-
Oh bugger so you will have well and truly shorted it then
-
I have switched to LED without issue. Perhaps you wired the LED backwards
-
Oh.. And your welcome buddy

Pretty much mate. I think the web site recently changed which has made life hard work. I posted on the Toyota blog in the end in the comments section for a post on touch n go. They responded really quick to my questions. I don't use the connect drive stuff and the sat nav update seems to involve putting a USB drive in to download an identifier for your car and then upload that to a website to then download the sat nav update for £££ :-/ or you register using some digit on your log book
