"You can't drive a house but you can sleep in a car" as the saying goes
-
No problem, I'll remove the "maybe", just let me know if you can't make it in the end so I can change the table booking.
-
You won't be disappointed, the food was superb both times I've been before. I've added you as a "maybe" for now then, let me know for definite nearer the time.
-
Okay, will stick you down as a maybe, let me know when you know!
-
One more for the list :-)

This event isn't too far from Swindon if you fancy popping along: http://www.gt86.org.uk/forums/topic/4771-020717-mk-meets-and-eats-on-tour/

If you want to see the difference the sound generator makes you can plug it with the blanking plug from the 12V power supply in the glove box
-
Nah, not those guys, was a reasonably small independent in the Nottingham area.
-
There was a Rotrex supercharged 2.2 at Cadwell last year, had a great battle with them for a while. The guy was from a garage in Nottingham that specialises in VXs, the name escapes me at the moment though.

Mixing the dates up with the July meet....meant to be the 11th, bonus points for spotting my error
-
Added, will you have another BRZ by then? Be good to see you either way.
-
@Steeps @lewisw are you guys okay for Sunday the 13th instead as well?
-
Added to the list

Not a problem, they're sat under my desk at work gathering dust. They're 210mm centre to centre, not sure how much shorter that is than stock though, other than they're definitely shorter. I'm not at Japfest but should be able to leave them with someone who is today, will let you know.
-
I've got a spare set of shorter non adjustable drop links if you want to try those and see if they fix it then.
-
I also had to shorten the Whiteline drop links by about 10mm by facing 5mm off each end of link in a lathe.
-
If you can't see any witness marks where the drop links are hitting anything check the drop links are tight in the ARB and the strut. My right front drop link came loose at the ARB and made a similar noise under similar symptoms to what you've described.

We should arrange a meeting point outside so we can park up together.
-
Yeah they're the same now, James from Amber Performance (Mishimoto distributor) mentioned it at one of the MK meets earlier this year.
-
You need to be really careful with the angle of the belts if you're running a HANS device, the safe range is much smaller. There's a good document on the Schroth website that shows the differences.

It allows forced induction cars to run a little cooler which in turn allows a little more ignition advance, the same is true for NA but to a lesser extent. An NA car in warm climate will be absolutely fine on the stock thermostat, Toyota/Subaru will have development tested the car in much hotter ambient temperatures than high 30's deg.C.

I signed up for a ticket earlier, there were about 120 left when i did.
-
Bugger, just realised this date clashes with the Snetterton UK Time Attack round which I'm going to watch with my Dad, is everyone okay for the following Sunday the 13th instead?
-
Ha! Its not that close for me but I need to go to Loughborough Uni to drop some textbooks back at the library by the 10th May as well, so good to combine that with something fun.
-
Great, are you going to Midlands Car Cafe on the 6th May as well? I'm planning on going unless the weather is horrendous on the day.
