Definitely getting it on PC on Friday. Played a pre-release of it a few months ago, thought it was a great concept but was missing a load of key aspects. Read through the release patch notes, and they literally addressed every issue I had (variety of planet environments, variety of wildlife, ship/suit upgrades, base building, weather effects), so as long as they've implemented those changes well, then the game should be great. It's the kind of game that will either be heavily supported by the publisher, or heavily supported through mods, so either way I think it'll get better with time.

Just to confirm, looks like I should be free. I've managed to convince my customer to have me on site tomorrow, so I should be free all weekend. Happy to head over to Curborough if that's the general consensus. Have nothing to do all day so happy to make a day of it, rather than just the morning.

I think your best bet is to go custom unless you find EXACTLY what you want in the aftermarket. The place I had my exhaust made charged me £450 for a 2.5inch catback, designed to my exact requirements of sound and volume. I would guess a 3inch might run you a little more than that. In terms of volume, I know hundreds of people who've had exhausts made by Charlie, and lots who have asked for quiet exhausts. A lot of the time they're barely louder than stock. The only downside I suppose, would be that he's based in Cardiff, which is quite a trek. Couldn't recommend him enough though. There are examples of the sound differences on his website, as well as lots of testomonials around the web, and a gallery showing his work (a few of my past cars are in the gallery). I'll be there, similar setup to Mike but without EDFC and with Eibach ARB's, but honestly just coming for breakfast and to say hi I should say however, this is dependent on me not being needed on site in work, as I've heard my customers talking about that date as a potential commissioning date

Abbey Motorsport Cobra larger capacity HFC
S18 RSG replied to Mark@Abbey M/S's topic in Abbey Motorsports
So your need the HFC fitted to your be-spoke system you had made? Basically, yes. Whichever way is easiest. I would imagine getting the catted front pipe you're selling here and cutting the existing pipework to fit may be easiest, but I'm good with whatever works. Nobody dyes their hair ginger, not on purpose anyway, so why would you do that to your car? That's just cruel. It doesn't want to be ginger.
-
I agree with this. If it were half as tall I'd really like it, but at that height it looks like something a hill climb/time attack car would have, which a stock GT86 is not.

This has now been sold.

Hi all, This is going to be a very short term listing, and one which I don't at all expect to sell, but I wanted to offer it up anyway on the off chance. As most of you know by now, I, and a few other members, have had some whistle issues with the 1320 UEL manifolds. I've been assured by multiple parties that this is down to poorly built flex pipes, something which is easily repairable, but which I am unwilling to repair. Aside from the flex pipe issue, the manifold seems to be well made. The welds are great quality, and the manifold overall looks very professional. Unfortunately, due to a poor response from their aftersales team, I lost a lot of confidence in them as a company, and therefore their products, so have replaced the manifold rather than paying to have it repaired, but various other members have had good experiences with them and their products. All in, I bought the manifold for £400 (same price it would cost anyone in the UK to import one). I've been told the repair for the flex pipes would be somewhere in the region of £100. 1320 have offered me a full refund, but if there is someone out there who has the skills/resources to repair the manifold, I'm willing to sell it on rather than send it back. If anyone is interested, I'd be happy to take £250 for it. It's only been on the car for around 1,000 miles or so. Item is located in South Wales, but would happily ship it if you could arrange, meet halfway, or bring it with me to JAE if someone was interested. If there is no interest by the start of next week, I'll be sending the manifold back to the US for a refund.

Abbey Motorsport Cobra larger capacity HFC
S18 RSG replied to Mark@Abbey M/S's topic in Abbey Motorsports
@Mark@Abbey M/S - When I had my exhaust made (it was custom made) the guys that designed it made it a little different to OEM. There is a flange between overpipe and secondary CAT as normal, but the a flange directly after the second cat, rather than a meter of pipe. Would it be possible for you to fabricate it to fit? I'm happy to buy the CAT, and then pay for any time to re-fabricate.- 65 replies

I've had the game on today just to build up mileage on eggs, and the few Pokemon I have tried to catch I've not experienced many issues to be honest. I have a 3 pokeball rule for things that I don't need or want. If I don't catch them in 3 balls, I give up, always have done. Based on that rule, nothing seems much different. That being said, I've also had low CP Pokemon run from me, but usually after a ball or two, which I'm fine with as I waste less balls. I've also noticed a higher average CP today than usual. Most encounters have been over 400CP, even caught a 700CP Eevee which is now a 1700 Flareon. I also notice that they've fixed the frozen ball bug (mine froze and instantly said Pokemon caught and unfroze itself). I also like the new graphical tweeks and animations. The biggest gripe for me is still, and will continue to be, the tracking. My nearby list at lunch time showed Vulpix, Staryu, Paras and Eevee, all relatively rare around here, so the variety seems better, but now I can't track them it's pointless.
-
Is that using the PTC login or Google? Everyone I know used a Google login and I've not heard of any issues.
-
I doubt I'll play it til they fix this update. Being nearly level 24, Pokeballs of all kinds are a bit of a luxury right now, so I don't fancy wasting them on even harder catches. Niantic will have to listen to the community on this one. As far as I know, they've already lost close to a million dollars today in refunds, as thousands of people (myself included) have had purchases refunded through Google Play and iTunes. I don't spend money on items for them to then change the game so much that my money goes to waste.
-
Pretty certain the dev commented on it at Comic Con when they did their panel. Same as a few other myths like the Eevee naming easter egg.
-
Open the nearby menu, click the Pokemon you want then close the window. As you walk around, the menu icon in the bottom right pulses if you're going the right direction. Unfortunately, since the 3 step glitch, there's no way of knowing how far in that direction you had to walk.
-
Aka no more 15 Vaporeons in every gym The worst part is, they've taken out ANY way of tracking Pokemon now. At least on the last update the flashing symbol would go off when heading in the right direction, and if really lost, you could just use Pokevision or similar. Now, no more flashing for direction, no more tracking sites, nothing. Gonna really put a dampener on the game for a while.

Ethan used to be a client of mine when I was working in influencer marketing, so I saw it on his channel then. Never subscribed, or even saw another video of his/theirs, but that one was funny.

Not sure what's worse, playing a mobile phone based video game, or posting dank memes ridiculing those who do. Oh wait, I've thought about it, the latter is definitely more sad.
-
Sure, I'll be able to play this free app by spending £150,000 on a new house somewhere that isn't my hometown. 10/10 plan.

Where's the fun in having to drive or walk 10 minutes between Pokestops, when people who live in cities can probably take a shit between 4 with 24/7 lure modules. Within 10 minutes of my house there are 5 pokestops and 2 gyms. In order to find 3 Pokestops close enough together to farm all 3, I have to drive 25 minutes to the nearest city. People wouldn't cheat if there was no reason to. When the game is so ridiculously unbalanced for rural players, there's a real desire to find loopholes.

I'm level 23 on my second account. First account got banned after 4 days for faking my GPS location So realistically, I've done 23 levels in around 10 days while working 60-70 hours per week... Not sure if I should be proud or ashamed. What I'm working with at the moment: Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk

Yeah, but have you tried turning up at a Pokestop with 100+ people at it in a GT86? Makes catching Pokemon difficult. -

I'm 25 and I spent multiple hours per day walking around catching Pokemon on my phone. Never mind this thread, my life hasn't gone the way I'd hoped. -

52km in the last week, all walking/running thanks to Pokemon. It's no joke.
