  1. So I posted up when I joined I'm an airbrush artist who crazily has this vision to paint cars. Everyone tells me im daft and pursuing a crazy route of art. But im sticking with it and art on cars -be subtle (I actually love the subtle look) or extreme the route I went for my show car is becoming more popular.. I don't own a gt86.. hopefully one day if my art career picks up a lot I will I do love the cars.. I keep trailing evay and auto trader for a fluke of a car to be added and sold for peanuts... no one seems to like peanuts at the moment though. [emoji19] [emoji6] So I stick with my old coupé and she's doing -errrrrr- same as really pain in the arse car!!!!! Lost all its gears on me at the last show[emoji35] ... but is behaving now fixed. And will do till I earn enough to upgrade to a gt86... This is what I did to my show car. Would love to paint some work for you guys.. be it engine covers or small parts. Or if one of you seriously wanted a car painting that would be amazing. But the extreme personalised car look it not everyone's thing I know. [emoji106] Anyways any feed back on my non-gt86 cars artwork would be appreciated. I see a few of you driving around havant and Portsmouth area so give me a wave if you see my show car around. 2. Hope you don't mind m shoeing some of my artwork. This is my latest engine cover finished. I really enjoyed painting this. Love doing engine covers the themes are so varied and the area is a great size for art work(although this one was quite an unusual shape) . I really like avengers too. Although its one of most popular requests at the moment for me I will be able to paint them in my sleep soon I think. Lol

    At a Showroom

I like the red stitching - but it would have to be leather for my vote. Has anyone got a shot of both the interiors to compare..

    At a Showroom

I did think there was a difference thanks for that reply. . I think also the brz I was looking at in the showroom had cloth interior.. But the Toyota had leather for sure.. I think that gives different look to inside so it might have been that aswel.. I thought the gt looked ore enclosed and the brz seemed more roomy I can't work out why think that though. .

    At a Showroom

So I dropped my boyfriend off at the mot station to collect his car. . Happens to be at a mg / subaru showroom ... So I have no idea what Is or isn't up with his car . Lol..as I been too busy staring at the brz's. Its just So nice... I want one. It would look so good airbrushed up. I will have to wait.... :-/ I did notice the interior wasnt how I remembered ?(test drove a gt86 a year or so ago) is there a difference between the gt86 and brz interiors - or am I just remembering them wrong..

    GT86 1 - Wildlife 0

I have had two run in with wildlife.. So I have a wildlife1-car1 ratio.. First was a rabbit. It ran across the road infront of me I drive a low car (non gt 86) and I was going over a speed bump because of that the lucky rabbit hit the front of my car shot up about 5foot in the air(scaring the life outta me)landed on my bonnet slid to the floor and ran off .. The second I was driving along at 60mph on main road woodpigion hit my windscreen .Must have ahad a chip in it as it cracked the whole thong . Not sure it did the wood pigeon any good either unfortunately . My windscreen was also covered in a horrible dust off it too. Yuck. I try not to hit animals. If I can safely move outta the or stop way I will try to. Sometimes that's not possible .

    Hi

I have kind of gone all out on the hyundai coupe as I wanted to show off lots of different styles on it so when at shows etc. If people ask what I do I can take them round the car explaining different techniques and they have lots to look at. but it is quite a mixture I described it like a tattoo sleave it has Japanese theme -roller derby theme and race car theme ties together with candy sparkly paint effect /carbon fiber effects/flame effects / ripped metal effects.... Its got a lot going on... I do love my cars as said before I'm a true car enthusiast. Its both a show car and a regular drive car. I think I will keep it and trailer it to events even after its day as a drivable car is done as it's a huge canvas and great show piece .. Which then leaves me with the possibility to do the gt in just 1 full theme. I have a few ideas I like - Films are great to pull themes from my favorite idea at the moment is Avatar theme .. It stand out,has high detail and vivid colours I can use my candy paints, sparkle flake paints and other fx paints. it's a film most people have seen too which helps. (I like transformers and pirates but that's been done soooooo many times which is great but I want to show something different. I really like the japanese style cherry blossoms /geisha etc but I have already done that on the coupe.) Im still thinking though. My ideas change all the time.

    Hi

This was a cool car looked completely factory standard until you looked really close. All his mods were hidden. Yep the only custom paint hes had is his whole engine bay is painted. So only seen if his bonnet is open.

    Hi

Thanks keethos. I hope it's not long too. Been reading through a few of the members projects posts and having a look round the forum really makes me want one more than ever now lol. A few more big projects and I might be able to buy one sooner rather than later. Fingers crossed. Hopefully can still join in the forum though as my knowledge of body work and paint should be helpful . And hopefully I can learn about the cars inside out before I actually purchase one . As I do a lot of work on my own cars body modifications wise I need to know how to take them apart and put them back together really . When I buy cars also they are rescue car . Ones that people think are beyond repair body wise then I can paint it and make it look spectacular again. . ( unsure if gt86/brz are ever sold in that condition or if they are too new reallyto have got to this stage ) I get very attached to my cars because of this though (sad I know, sorry) my coupe for example was rusty due to age and neglect and had a huge paint reaction on the front bonnet/wings where the paint was peeling in huge strips previous owner had by this point given up on it. I bought it and stripped it back, painted it the design that you see now.currently starting to use it for shows to showcase my work. I was at the nationals car show in Peterborough this year doing airbrushing demos over the weekend (my car although only 60% finished was put on sow and shine stage)
