SOLD Ok I bought these as an experiment to try on my car but prefer the Tein Streetflex setup for now so might as well move these. They are used but in good condition with only minor marks from being fitted, I will include the shortened stock bumpstops I made for them although Eibach say stock bumpstops are fine to use, I tried both and prefer the shorter ones but either work fine so its your choice on install. SOLD Price wise I was thinking £50 if collected from me in Penrith Cumbria, I can post at cost as well just get in touch. Pictures of them taken yesterday after removing from car. Cheers Ian

Its a real shame your so far away as I really want to see how the Koni ride compares to my Teins, the roads around me as so bad i may yet have to remove the Tein setup and go Koni but I would like to ride in a car with it first to see how it compares, so if any other Koni equipped owners read this and are further north get in touch
-
Thats a shame, as you say would of been good to compare back to back, if the konis come off let me know as always interested to try different setups Ian

My 86 came with Tein Streetflex with EDFC Active Pro and GPS kit, this means you can manually adjust things in car like normal EDFC, or set it to Active mode which monitors speed and G force and adjusts to suit, ive not really messed with the Active side of things so far (only had car a few weeks) and just used the manual settings, flicking between various settings depending what im doing. It seems pretty good and ive been playing around with front spring rates to try and get best balance for comfort and handling, still pretty firm even on soft settings for some of the truly awful roads we have here in Lake District mind. Whereabouts are you located ? I would be interested to see how the Koni setup rides on these cars as ive always used them on other cars with great success, would be good to meet up to compare on the off chance your in north of England. Do i need to replace my studs for spacers
thetyrant replied to jevvy's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
Why dont you jack car up , remove a wheel and measure lenght of studs? That way you know for sure, i fitted 20mm spacers on front of my last 86 with stock wheels no problem, pretty sure no stud protrusion past spacer but get yours jacked up to double check. -
Agreed I was hoping to see a few more charged cars in the TSS, just hope I can beat some NA cars Ian

Yes i venture on track from time to time, in fact i was at Croft the day after i collected this one a couple of weeks ago :-).....im hoping to be at the next round of the Toyota Sprint Series at Croft in a few weeks as well. Be interesting to see how you go with the turbo setup

I sold it to a chap from Leeds as it just wasnt the right time to own one for various reasons, also i found it a touch slow in stock form hence this one ive just bought has the Cosworth Supercharger fitted and is much more sprightly :-) Ian

Welcome! , im in Penrith and just bought my 2nd 86, first one a few years ago didn't work out so didn't have it long, but im hoping this new one which has a few nice upgrades will last better, don't see many 86's around here which is one of reasons I like them Ian

SOLD!!!! OK following the sale of my GT86 I have for sale my HKS Hipermax IV GT coilover kit, this kit was only fitted for a few hundred miles before I removed it to sell the car, so condition is as you would expect like new! For those not familiar with these new HKS GT kits they are marketed as the ultimate road/track kit giving improved ride on the road but plenty firm enough on the track as well, I can vouch for this and certainly work very well and only for sale as car has been sold. Price on these new is £1500 but I would accept offers around £950 for them which is a bargain for someone Im located in Cumbria and can be collected or I can send via courier. Pictures below hopefully!....still boxed with everything you get when you buy them new! Cheers Ian

That's the way of the world unfortunately, always something pops up when you have spent up Im in no panic but could do with them gone sooner rather than later as they are in the way and could put money to good use. Cheers Ian -
