Probably a little late to ask a question like this as I have a car on order, but are you deliberately making the car act like this? Does it snap back into control if you do "silly things"? -
I was getting an Alfa vibe from the front lights....
-
I like that. IMO looks better than the BRZ and the face off makes it sound the better car. If I didn't want the extra seats for occasional use I think I'd be going for the MX5.
-
How all you youngsters affording £20k cars?
-
Hi Terry, I'm hoping to get a BRZ in December, I'm just down the road from you in Grays.
-
Isn't the pressure based on passengers/load so maybe it was correct for some combination?
-
I hope Subaru don't have the same policy, I like to have a proper car manual.
-
Not sure if this is any help, but if you go to justgivemethedamnmanual.com they have the 2013 BRZ 400 odd page manual as a PDF. Should be relevant info on it for you, I'm browsing it now....

I can understand why they do this, keeps the number of options and therefore production lines to a minimum. This probably also gets the car to the UK quicker.

Hello and greetings from Essex - I'm the owner from new of a black BRZ

I guess that is about what you can expect without removing unnecessary weight (such as passenger seats) to get close to the manufacturers figures. -

Setting and beating my mpg record is one of my favourite games, becomes quite addictive.... -

I used to have a 2 litre 156 and the consumption was somehow worse than my 3 litre 325i! (best I managed on 156 was about 39, managed 41 on the BMW). Interested to see what I can get out of the BRZ, will be disappointed if I can't beat the BMW. -
Thanks. Do people who have had this done feel a noticeable improvement or is it more of an "on paper" improvement? Any impact on fuel consumption?
-
I think I'd be interested in this if it didn't void the warranty, but I can't see it being accepted.
-
Is that just a remap you have planned? If so, what kind of performance improvement could be expected?

I have a double garage but the Audi's driver door opens into the wall. I put a few hooks into the brickwork and hung a bath towel over the area the door can potentially touch. Problem solved.

I'd ask, nothing to lose. When we bought our A6 it came without the electronic folding mirrors I'd specifically ordered. They said they would retrofit the mirrors and also offered some free stuff from their brochure but I said give me a free service instead (as well as the retrofit). Then when they got the parts they had trouble coding them (which meant I had to leave the car with them a further week) so told them I now wanted 3 years free servicing, which they agreed to and got them to put in writing. My story is slightly different as I could have rejected the car, but "if you don't ask, you don't get" still applies.

Proton? I'm in Malaysia right now and 90% of cars are Protons!

Very useful actually, particularly if you get distracted, the beep gives you a reminder to focus. Having said that, still managed to scrape my Alfa on the railings when the sensor was beeping away. [emoji1]

Has your wife driven a car like that (I.e. old). If not, I'm sure a test drive will put her off. If not, talk about reliability issues, where to get parts, servicing etc and unless you are a real enthusiast, one to skip.
-
If they were common, I wouldn't be interested. Who honestly wants a car that everyone else has?
-
I used to like those, but don't they have some odd engine (aluminum or something that is prone to melting).
-
For reversing, why not get parking sensors added for extra peace of mind?
-
I think I've only ever seen 2 or 3 GT86s and no BRZs (other than what I test drived).
