I was quoted £325 yesterday and that's without additional flush and fuel treatment. [emoji19]

Thankyou guys It's my only car for now so I'm going for a nice street car. I've got my eye on a couple of wheel sets and I'm also very interested in what Cosworth have done with the car as far as stage 2. Also have a soft spot for the widebody twins I've seen but I try not to entertain that idea haha. Still running the engine in so not pushed it too hard but it's also my first rwd car and feels very different to my previous cars (a mk4 golf and a mk5 r32). I'm gonna break it in and then let the car tell me what it wants based on the way I drive it. I am particular about the paint and since getting the r32 I started learning how to care for it a little better. Not sure it's to the same standard as the very impressive show and shine cars but will be getting some more practice in with a mop and experimenting with waxes to keep it looking good. I will be attending shows all the same. I am also very keen to do a track day having never done one before. A Midlands meet would be great and feel free to tell me about your cars Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey guys, Just to introduce myself and my car, I'm Jordan and I picked up a 2015 BRZ last Thursday. I'm based in the West Mids and I've seen 3 other GT86 cars around (2 red and 1 white). I've been lurking the forums for a few weeks and you all seem a lot nicer than the group I came from haha. Look forward to my future with the car and to getting to know you all too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Are you keen on an 86? I'm 21 and I've just got a BRZ for £900 a year with 3 years NCD. For some reason my 86 quotes were no lower than £1500 which was one of that factors that pulled me towards the subie. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm sort of with Lauren on this. For myself and my group of friends the plate of a car has never been much of a big deal and it's not really been a factor when I've bought my cars. Sort of the reason why I had to ask about the difference between 15 and 65 here. I've got a private plate on my current car that also has 15 as a coincidence. Hope to get another plate that has J15 but is less specific to the car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

'Never say never' but I don't intend to sell the car. If that was more the line of thought I'd pick up one that's got a few thousand miles or so on it and the hit in depreciation has more or less been soaked up. Fair point though. I know it's not as long as Willtl's but the wait already feels like a lifetime. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've never bought a new car, what would be the benefit? The 65 shows its registered late 2015? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Around the 1st of August but I am away then so I agreed to collect it on the 12th of August. It's already in the UK but was at a dealer in Wales. They managed to get hold of it for me and it'll be registered when it arrives at the dealer near me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There were two black SE models left in the UK as of the 10th of July. Until I ordered one of them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nice choice man, congrats. Here for the comments as I'll be picking up a black manual SE in August. I did ask the dealership and was told they are good to go but I'm sure all new engines need to be broken in? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
