It brakes fine in a straight line. I have been testing on various A roads both lanes duel carriage ways and just about every time ive been out in the car and the same behaviour happens. When I had the settings checked the first time they where almost identical to the ones I had done at TD and was driving fine. So I had them adjust it this time just to remove some toe out of the settings and left camber -1 all round. Going to drive up to Toyota tomorrow and drop it off and see what they can spot. Bloody typical in the fact im doing a driving holiday in Scotland from next Sunday.

The Tyres are asymetric and all inside/outside markings are correct. There is no vibration via the buckled wheel even at high speed and is only minor according to a few places I have taken it. Coasting the car will drift to the left very slightly and is the same behaviour under power. Hands off the wheel, when im turning the car i get a slight bit of reluctance going right as though something is not right. There are no noises from the dampners at all or any leaks I could see. I will post up alignment later on today.

Konig Daylite wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres
alucardo replied to Deacon's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
@will300 I do owe you a pint or breakfest at one of the meets at some point @DeaconIm not going to pursue these wheels further so no need to arrange a 'fitting' . I had not planned on buying any wheels its just these are a very good deal so did tempt me. These are definitely worth snapping up for someone. -

Did these fit over your brembo's? As they look quite tight over stock in the pic above. -
@maurice Your car is quite modified so what is the warranty covering exactly as its something I have considered but I saw no real point having changed bits and bobs on my car.

I ordered new originally and used drivethedeal and various other broker sites which landed me a new car for 23.5k so if you go new really look around broker sites and be prepared to wait. However if I was to buy again I would not go new I would go for one 1-2 years old.

Id like to be competitive if I did TSS which requires more track time. As it stands id probably be off the pace and doing 5 runs for the same amount of money as a full track day in which I can learn and get tuition is probably better for me at the moment. So maybe not this year, maybe next if I can get more track time. Then id do a round or so to test it out.
-
I did think about it for a while but the £ to track time is much worse than a trackday. I spent 130 notes including insurance for a full day open pit. TSS sits at blyton sits at 140 at the moment and I imagine 5 runs roughly for the day. If they where to do sprints in the morning and a trackday in the afternoon Id be tempted. However Im still thinking about it.

Think I need to get some recording equipment for the car. Any recommendations from anyone as I do not want to spend a fortune?
-
That makes sense on Tiffs time. 1.16 is bloody quick in a GT86, must obtain more talent and practice.

I did blyton park outer yesterday with the new brake setup and some tuition. They are great absolutely superb all day, solid pedal no fade great feel for modulation while trail braking. According to some friends I was lapping around 1.20-1.22 in the morning which I thought was ok but not having much to compare to I looked online and saw Tiff N did it in 1.12 which is crazy fast. I believe I got quicker throughout the day but need more practice. Overall great day with lots of sunshine first thing and cloud cover later on. I do not have any video of the day, I really need to invest in some. A few friends may have some footage I may post at some point. So thanks to @will300 and @Ade for recommending the brakes they have basically sorted that issue for the foreseeable future.

I have purchased the kit a week ago but since driving it recently both sides of the car have started to rattle. I have noticed the anti rattle clip is easily moveable using just a finger which allows the pad to move slightly which is what I think is causing the rattle. This is on both sides. Video included. @Lauren @will300 @Ade Do your clips move so easily?
-
Thanks for replying @Ade @will300 . I will get them switched round ASAP sadly not today but will post up when done.
-
With the Reyland being straight vaned Id imagine there will be no real difference other than the surface groove can push the pad up a little and cause a slight knock(Mine does not with the braking I have done so far normal stop and start stuff).
-
@will300 Yours are this way but I believe yours are AP disks so I guess its more down to which way the cooling veins are on this disk
-
Are you sure @Lauren As thats your right hand tyre I believe. Mine is different
-
They moved premise when I ordered mine and total time was 4 weeks to get them done. Without that I think probably about 2-3 weeks. Very difficult to tell on the wheels I guess best thing to go is look at others people wheels that are running the kit Rays gram lights 17*7 et42 are mine and they fit fine.

The reyland kit throws the bias slightly forward. You can offset this with some better quality rear pads. However overall this about the best kit for keeping the bias as close to stock as possible without investing in rears aswell. Article below gives you some other results from other calipers and I believe the reyland is similar to Essex endurance. As @will300 said its not much which is why on wills and @Ade recomendations I went with the kit myself https://www.pointmeby.com/2016/09/24/which-big-brake-kit-bbk-should-you-get-for-the-brz-frs-gt86-86/
-
Sadly the reyland kit does not go understock 17's. You would need some bigger offset wheels like the ones I have and @Lauren has for them to fit. Get some nice lighter wheel and a BBK for about 2300 which about the same price as the entire kit you listed.
