I have the gt3 brake ducts aswell but did not help 2500's on stock disks after 4 15-20 minute sessions.
-
This is why I have not bothered with looking at disks and pads combination. If you plan to keep the car and do multiple tracks a year it makes sense to go BBK as for one you get more time on track and you spend less money overall. Just the upfront cost seems high but the overall investment is good.

How much do they squeak on a daily drive as I have heard carbotechs like to.

I have TD's EL mani and Res Catback and for the motorway its fine. It does not drone which is generally the worst thing aftermarket exhausts have a tendency to do. Im based in Nottingham so if you wanted to have a listen first hand im sure we could work something out. I drove accross Europe with the catback on and never once got annoyed with it and im pretty picky on my exhausts.

Toyota think it's the oil pressure switch. The pressure seems good on the car and they have not seen the issue themselves. So replacing that and hoping for the best. Sadly part is on back order so next Monday before it gets replaced.

Sandwich plate is basically where it's plumbed in. No leak I can see. No loss of oil. It's in at Toyota tomorrow so fingers crossed.

From what I have read of my guage is accurate i should be fine. However I'll be going to garage to have it checked

0.7 x 100 = 70 kpa which is about 10psi. The oil cooler has been on the car for months with no issues at all it was more just an FYI as to what my car has on it. I will speak to Mike at TD this week anyway. It has happened twice my wife spotted it first time but it went away and the 2nd time I spotted myself so now the car is parked up and wont be used until I can get it over to a garage probably inchcape in Nottingham for now.

I do have an oil cooler from Tuning Developments http://www.tuningdevelopments.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=2622 Do I need to run a thicker oil?
-
I read a few of those thread and the only real issue I read was related to the power steering not being able to handle the tyre so might be worth keeping track stints on slicks a little shorter. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7890&page=9

Yeah I have TD's manifold downpipe and res catback. The manifold has made it louder than just having the res cat back but the tone of the exhaust etc is the same. Just pm me if you want to have a listen and im sure we can arrange something.

I have this system mani and res catback and Im in Nottingham so I don't mind you coming for a listen drive etc .....
-
Got in there quick for these.
-
Look at tuning developments res cat back. Some clips on there for sale thread and sounds good but not overly intrusive. It can go louder if you had their manifold and a remap but again not to bad overall. Just with catback I drove all over Europe and the exhaust was never intrusive but gives off a nicer sound than stock. Also a decent price.

Email dropped over to you.

Can't thank you enough @will300 Wheels are on the car, so im now looking at getting the bbk ASAP
-
Thats a generous offer @will300 are you close to @Lucas@PartBox location wise as I would not want to put you out of your way?
-
Tempted by these if they clear 4-piston AP Racing CP9200 calipers....

I am in the final stages off deciding on my purchase for a BBK not I have one that is short listed but I was wondering what wheels other people are running with theirs? 949racing is my current choice as they fit over the kit I am after. There is a 3 week wait for those wheels so if there is a wheel similar and works and arrives quicker I might go for those.
-
Sorry my bad should have included I am staying 17 on the wheel front.
-
I did look but the brake bias for my needs does not match up sadly... Looking at the AP kits at the mo.
-
If anyone has a Stoptech AP kit or something else except the sti-wrx conversion please let me know. Any traders who have a price for the kit please let me know.

I have done a trackday on a patched tyre and was fine.
-
I have the same setup with one cat. At Donnington few people on the wall on the straight did mention it sounded good as I went past . I do like the throaty hard charging noise around 3.5- 4.5k revs now..

Yep very true. However they are one of the pads that don't squeal like mad or chuck have a ton of dust everywhere. Every other pad that can do track and road do that. Having separate pads is the other option but consistently changing them in and out would get annoying. So thats why Im looking BBK's.
