Yeah I was looking at consumables aswell. It is mainly for road / track work (5-8 a year). I was using standard disks ds2500 and gt3 ducts on a Hot day and was braking quite hard and they just came apart. My considerations are: 1. Fit under standard wheels 2. Dust Boots 3. Brake Bias 4. Consumables AP are on my list but just looking round at others at the moment as AP are pricey.
-
I have emailed them to ask about their brake bias and whether they have dust boots. They seem like a good option as the brakes fit under standard rims according to the link above I posted.
-
Not a fan of spacers. Are AP the only bit of kit that fits under stock wheels? Id rather retain dust boots aswell.

So to follow on from my post above I have decided not to mess about and look at BBK and get one. The article below is an interesting one and at the moment the stoptech is favourite the 328. Can anyone confirm this fits under a standard alloy? Also looking at the Tarox kit aswell https://www.japspeed.co.uk/tarox-toyota-gt86-subaru-brz-326mm-front-big-brake-kit.html https://www.pointmeby.com/2016/09/24/which-big-brake-kit-bbk-should-you-get-for-the-brz-frs-gt86-86/

After my recent trackday the brand new 2500 and standard disk judder mainly down to deposits. Is there a way to clean this off or will normal breaking for a while clean this disk?

GT86 BRZ Tuning Package from Tuning Developments
alucardo replied to Mike@TD.co.uk's topic in Tuning Developments
Drive by only at Donnie these days. You also only get 1 warning before your booted off track. 98db driveby and the readers are over the track on the main straight and 10-20 meters away the rest of the track. I did get some compliments on the exhaust sound aswell so overall a positive experience.- 231 replies

GT86 BRZ Tuning Package from Tuning Developments
alucardo replied to Mike@TD.co.uk's topic in Tuning Developments
Car passed Donington driveby thats resonated cat back and EL and one deleted cat. Car performed lovely and the additional torque and ability to shift and not have a dead zone was great. Thumbs up- 231 replies

FYI: I changed my pads and discs and I now no longer have this at all. I never changed to standard pads as while on my trip I was always going quick enough not to have this noise.

## Special Offer ## GT86/BRZ/FR-S Exhaust Systems From Tuning Developments
alucardo replied to Mike@TD.co.uk's topic in Tuning Developments
Just a note to this. I drove round Europe 2500 miles with the resonated cat back and had no problem with noise at all. Due to the smoothness of most European roads I got to listen to the Exhaust more than road noise. Recommended. -
My insurance runs out in 8th Aug, I am currently with Admiral. They will not cover modifications so I am looking to move to another company. However if I can cancel I will loose a no years claim. Can i run two policies at the sam time so i can get the no claim?
-
I have emailed them in the past and it was a no but thought id chance it and they do not cover aftermarket modifications anymore and where asking for the car makers optional list.
-
Manifold and remap. However I have had accidents about 4 years ago so goes against me in these circumstances.
-
I spoke to Admiral and they do not allow my modifications. I may have to wait until Aug then to renew elsewhere. Thought that might be the case.

I have been looking into supercharging and turbo charging but I have decided that for the gains for supercharging is abit to expensive for me at this point in time. However I am looking into headers and an ecu remap. I currently have a tuning developments resonated cat back and pipercross filter and nothing else so was look for a manifold. Tuning developments have a decent looking package here: http://www.tuningdevelopments.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=502_625_852&products_id=2567 Obviously I want to keep the db down to a minimum so any other recommendations? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qf6rhRgJD4 - is abit to loud for my tastes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZfNQbvPlGI - seems much better

I need spare bulbs for my euro trip does anyone know of a good place to grab them? I have everything else sorted just looking for cheapest place possible.
-
Went to garage on my lunch break and he thinks its pads. I have oem which I will switch to and test and keep in for the eurotrip.
-
I would leave mine but I am off into Europe next month for a week or so, so sods law dictates thats when the issue will appear fulltime. May pop over to a garage this afternoon see what they think.

I have done 40k miles so I'm thinking its signs of a bearing starting to go....
-
As the weather has got warmer the noise has become slightly worse. Mine is a 2014 car aswell. Does your noise go if you turn steering wheel?
-
I have similar to this. Usually after warm weather. It disappears when I turn the wheel. its most annoying. I have had a service and have nothing flagged bearing wise etc I do have aftermarket pads but had them on a while. Any clues would be helpful...
-
Yes I was just wondering how loud it will be the with resonated cat back I have so was just seeing what people are running an how loud they are. I do track days in mine so do not want to go loud. I did see your comments in the TD manifold thread 'Andrew Smith' so if the cat back is to loud with the manifold could revert back to the stock exhaust.
-
Getting the TD manifold and ecutek from them puts me on course to get the turbo kit if I went that route next year. However this year im just looking a remap and manifold.

Does anyone know of companies that only ask for the 3 years accident history? RBS group admiral direct line Churchill all offer this however they don't really cover modifications. 4 years ago I had 2 accidents very quickly and they are a blight when it comes to insurance and certainly when its comes to modification purposes like ecu or supercharging.

Is there anything else I can try with my suspension before replacing it
alucardo replied to ThatGuyThere's topic in Mechanical
Did you drive the same roads on standard suspension? What are the spring rates on the coilovers?
