Been on mine for two years now. Makes your knob twiddling a much more pleasing experience. Unfortunately, it still sounds crap. Hoping to upgrade my head unit soon. Matt.

Bit of a crap picture, but here it is in my car. Lego motorcycle wheels! The only mod I have done to my GT86; should I inform my insurer? Matt.

Just visited the Greenlight web site and noticed this: Due to claims history we can't insure BMW's Hilarious!
-
Thanks for the tip, I appreciate that. I've noticed that a few people on the Forum have recommended Greenlight now.

No, I haven't made an official complaint, I'm not sure I can be bothered to be honest. I'll just wait for renewal time in January, there are bigger problems in the world, just thought I'd share my experience here to get it off my chest. Matt.

Wow, massive servers to store every phone call for that long!.
-
And kept for how long? That's a heck of a lot of data to store for a busy company like Adrian Flux.

I don't think there's any point in me contacting the insurance ombudsman over mis-selling, as it's my word against theirs, and it's a relatively minor issue in the grand scheme of things, just very annoying for me as I want to do my mods! The lesson here is to always get everything in writing. Matt.

Hi Lowe, Thanks for the tip on Chris Knott. You wrote something that really resonated with me; my Father and Grandfather both worked in the insurance industry for nearly their whole careers, they always said that you only find out how good your insurance is when you come to make a claim. Thanks, Matt.

It isn't necessarily true that it would be fine. The car in question has no kph/mph button, so any one of three possibilities could be the default for the digital speedo reading without the button wired to the cluster: 1. Defaults to mph (lucky) 2. Defaults to kph (bad luck) 3. Defaults to no display (bad luck again, back where you started) Fenhopper (Matt).

Yes, Agree with all of that Lauren. I think the OP will just have to learn to live with it, as I suspect you are right and swapping the cluster for one from another car could be problematic. BTW, apologies for never introducing myself properly on this forum; promise I will do soon. Matt.

That pattern is part of the face plate! What this guy has is an Australian Cluster (basic style) with a UK face plate on it. That's why it has the short needles, because it is the original Australian cluster, with no LED's for speed reading.
-
What pattern?
-
Possible that it's the original Australian (basic Primo style) instrument cluster, but someone added one of these: http://www.lockwoodinternational.co.uk/gt86-brz-part-no-c999.html ?

Euro Car Parts - Petronas Oil (too good to be true)
Fenhopper replied to celicaboy's topic in News & Updates
Pipercross seem to be doing some good deals on the same oil: 5 litres http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322514010611 10 litres http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322514010754 -

I think that's the right attitude zhuonanli, no point in getting wound up about it, just got to laugh really. I'll be doing the same, just order some more so I've got enough for the next service. -

I think you are legally entitled to return for a full refund under distance selling laws, for any reason. -

Agree, they would have to take them back, but if I get 2* 1 litre bottles then I will probably buy another 4 litres to make up enough for the next service, it's still a good price. -

5ltr: http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/engine-oils-fluids/car-engine-oils/car-engine-oil/0W20-engine-oil/?521773331&0&ce5_113 1ltr: http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/car-parts/engine-parts/engine-parts1/engine-oils/?521773332&&ce5_113 Yesterday, the 1 litre link was incorrectly showing 5 litres. I think rob275 is right, I doubt that our orders will be honoured for 5 litres. If Euro Car Parts made a genuine mistake, then I don't think they have any legal obligation to fulfill the order. Euro Car Parts - Petronas Oil (too good to be true)
Fenhopper replied to celicaboy's topic in News & Updates
Looks like Euro Car Parts have now amended their mistake, the offer is now for 1 litre of oil and not 5 litres, same part code, see below: http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/car-parts/engine-parts/engine-parts1/engine-oils/?521773332&&ce5_113 So it will be interesting to see whether I get 10 litres or 2 litres delivered to me. My order confirmation clearly says 5ltr cans in the description, but the product code now corresponds to the 1ltr cans. Fenhopper. -

Thanks for the tips on this Gentlemen. I also ordered 10 litres with a 30% discount code that I found on the web, total was £10.77 including postage. I then got the Email prompting me to buy an oil filter with a 15% discount code; the discount code didn't work, but I used the 30% discount code and that worked fine, so I got a Bosch oil filter for £4.12 including postage. Thanks again, Fenhopper. -
My alarm went off a few times today for no obvious reason. The car was parked up on my driveway and hadn't been driven for a couple of days. I have a 2014 car with the low capacity battery and I'm wondering if this could be another symptom of the known issue of battery drain when the car hasn't been driven for a while? It seems to be behaving itself now I've taken it out for a drive. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? Thanks all, Fenhopper.

I saved myself a few quid by having my car serviced at Fensport; OEM air filter was £8.34 including VAT!

Like "separate", for example; just saying.
