If stock is 75W-80 then your 75W-90 should be the same when cold, just a bit thicker when hot.
-
75W0 sounds like a weird grade of oil. Sure that's correct?
-
How much is gearbox oil replacement?

GT86 / BT46B mashup would be awesome.

Well, I have gone for Stoptech discs and PFC Z pads, we'll see how they do!
-
Exterior grooves? No probably not, but cooling vane design definitely does have an effect on cooling - curved vanes are more effective than straight.
-
I did notice the stoptech slots are not that aggressive, so hopefully they'll be quiet.
-
How are slotted discs from a comfort point of view? Am I going to get horrible judder vs a plain disc?
-
I assume the ability to adjust ride height with wheels on is only for the front?
-
Even better is: https://www.part-box.com/discs/126-47021sl-stoptech-sport-slotted-brake-disc-front-lh £88 a pop, so £176 the pair.
-
I did, I'm just struggling to justify £200+ for stoptechs, when mtecs are £67...
-
My fronts are shot it seems, so I'm in the market for some new discs and pads. Thinking another set of streetmaster pads and mtec discs, since they seem to be keenly priced. Is there any difference on the coatings or is it just aesthetics?

Mine was clocked at 78 dB at Bedford.

There should be a key barrel in the front doors:

Not a problem for me, but I've seen that too - at Blyton earlier in the year someone's (I think it was Alex's) caps were literally pinging off in the paddock from wheel heat.
-
The original reason they appeared is because the Weds caps don't allow use of spigot rings, so some enterprising people over in the US designed these. They're really neat though, and cheaper than official caps!

I have some combined spigot rings with centre caps, in aluminium, that I got from the US forum. Only available for my wheels unfortunately.

Shell Wilmslow is still open as well if you're a bit further North.
-
Yeah about that.

If money is no object a set of TWS T66-Fs will give you more or less the lightest wheel money can buy. 6.7 kg for 18x8s!

Rumours abound, but I'm not aware of any actual problems with supermarket fuel, just lots of "bloke down the pub" and "my mate said" stories. Part of the reason it is cheaper is they can accept a much finer margin than a stand alone station as some costs are shared with the main store.

I use Tesco 99 quite a lot of the time as it's cheaper than V-Power. No complaints.

You say that a decent all season is just as good, and you're right. For UK winters an all season is probably just as good if not better than a winter. But people here don't fit all seasons either, they fit summer tyres and then slide all over the place. Personally I've never tried an all season, but there is a very clear advantage in my experience between winters and summers in slush and cold rain. My comparison was Pilot Sport 3s vs Dunlop Wintersport 3Ds. The Dunlops were much much better until you got into double figures. In slush I was able to drive down a motorway, in control, at twice the speed of everyone else (they were doing ~20 mph in lane 1, I did 40 in lane 2). The only other vehicle that was able to drive at any speed was an ambulance who overtook me (but I'd assume they're on winters). They weren't terrible in warmer and drier conditions either. I was able to drive quite normally in 20C heat when I left them on a bit late one year. While I wouldn't want to take them on track, they had more than sufficient warm dry grip for road use in any conditions we're likely to encounter this side of June. All this talk is getting me tempted to get some winter tyres now...
