It's pretty minimal though, does it make that much difference?

I have that one; it's a bit of a pain on a lowered car as you have to lift a corner first with the tool kit jack to get the trolley jack under.

First MOT today, I also had the wheel alignment done while it was in. Everything looking good, though the emissions test failed the first time (I only have the stock second cat): Alignment looking pretty good, though the rears have a bit too much camber, and it's not well aligned between left and right: Pondering whether adjustable rear arms are worth it...

I've run winters before and reckon the changeover point is more like 3C rather than 7C, if you're running decent summers. Depending on which part of the country you're in they may be a better bet or not. In the North West we rarely get enough harsh weather to make them worthwhile.

Car was returned last week in time for the breakfast meet at the weekend. Nice to be out of the Audi. I also tried dialling my suspension a little stiffer which I prefer feel wise; so it's now at 56 all round base and then Lauren's settings for speed and G adjustments.

I have pressure washed mine a number of times and they're still on. You'd have to really go for it to shift them I think.

Not sure I can make the Curborough extension, definitely on for breakfast though.

The pipes running to the tips? I believe they are 2.5" - I had to replace one of the clamps on mine and a 63-68 mm just fits.

I had a similar problem and swapped the resonated midpipe into my Milltek catback. Really cuts the drone down a lot, but it's still a fair bit louder than stock, and much bassier. Had I realised you were looking to swap you could have come for a ride at Blyton to hear it.

Will also depend on the settings being run. I think Mike and I are running similar settings (basically Lauren's settings), not sure what MikeB has.
-
I tend to run mine at the stiffer end of the settings.

I think @Ade has...

I should have my car back, so definitely in for this.

Looking for a dark coloured car that requires some TLC :)

What about gingers? Or are we banned? -
Do it! All the cool kids have ginger cars, and we have more fun.
-
I'm in for this. Happy to give rides to sample Flex As + EDFC. Assuming I have my car back of course...

Suspension settings worked a treat at Blyton. I was running 32/32 base stiffness, then G-activated stiffening and it was composed over the bumpy sections but not too wallowy round the fast turns. Audi A4 courtesy car dropped off yesterday morning. It's like sailing a boat compared to the 86. Also the clutch is horrible (no feel) and the throttle seems to have two settings; a tiny trickle of power and full boost. Not sure why people rate diesels for the slug of torque, I think it makes them awful to drive.

I can easily handle the continued AWESOME of having a ginger car.
-
It's not serious. Cracked diffuser at the back is the only visible damage. I'll be at Blyton tonight / tomorrow.
-
Been trying out Lauren's settings, I rather like them, it makes the car nice and soft around town, but controls roll well when you push on. Also, my car is back to RRG's ARC again next week, as I was rear ended by an Audi TT this morning. Not having much luck lately.

Having seen the quality of the welds on your other stuff I'm quite keen to see this too. Would like to volunteer my car, but it's a daily so I can't really.

Think I'm going to just put up with mine until I can afford to replace it. I assume finding someone to replace the flex joints is a non-starter? Also, anyone tried or heard anything about these? http://rogerclarkmotorsport.co.uk/store/product/171-rcm-brz-gt86-stainless-steel-tubular-exhaust-manifold Seems very well priced, £600 for a manifold and overpipe!

Apparently mine is quite whistley from outside the car, not too bad inside. Don't think it's anything like as bad as yours.

Going to be interesting!
