I see thats fair enough and that to me is a win win situation in my opinion, but i am still deciding whether to go coils or not,i found a interesting kit on ebay for Eibach lowering springs+anti-roll bar handling kit and possibly could get it for cheap price.
-
Ill probably be averaging 12-15k a year but i will be hoping that will change once i can move out lol,but at the rate i daily the car i would be looking at changing suspension setup once every 2 and half years which is going to be expensive. £768 is a lot for coilovers still daidaiiro and yeah i noticed TJ hunt used street advanced too. To me £552 once every 2 and half years if they did fail around 35k mileage still works out cheaper+save time than buying Flex A + rebuild and waiting time for it to be fixed. Not everyone has time or space to store old suspension or would have another car to commute all the time.
-
Mainly aiming for lowering the car and slightly better handling really but i had the mindset of some day taking the car on track in near distance future hence why i was thinking of getting coilovers before. The Ft86 forum certainly don't like the Street advanced from what i've read and most people on here are running Flex Z? The way i see coilovers is just strange apart from build quality if they all do same thing what actually sets them apart?
-
So even the Tein Street Advanced are still better investment is what your saying?? I was originally thinking of saving and importing the Apexi N1 EXV from the states but decided against it because of hassle of imports and lack of UK reviews for them.
-
Well i was going go Coilovers but may decide not to because of price and won't benefit the use of coilovers,so i may go for the Eibach pro springs US spec+TRD top mount which is about £100 which isn't entirely bad. So for Eibach £270+TRD top mount is about £370 total vs coilover price as long as my shock absorber is fine of course seems to me a good upgrade for road use. Of course if shocks aren't in good condition then i will most definitely go coilovers route.

@nascency Never heard of DAS Keyboard before. @rob275 Never really tried Asus or QPad myself personally in terms of their peripherals lol, although of course im sure the Asus keyboard should have good build quality considering they make components and laptops. Can't really fault Steelseries but some people don't like them because they market stuff as "gaming" gear jazz but i do like SteelSeries, there any ducky keyboards around £100-110 mark? I was thinking of sticking with cherry Red myself. @CanaryWundaboy I play Pokemon myself as a casual player,by casual i mean im not into the whole breeding and competing jazz haha,i missed out on Ruby and Sapphire when they was released on GBA but had opportunity to play Alpha Sapphire on 3ds and its fantastic. Looking forward to Sun and Moon later this year but as for my next 3DS game i'll be playing Bravely Second*Eventually, started the game but not played it since* and new Monster Hunter X generations in middle of July.

So im looking at getting a mechnical keyboard myself for my 6th year anniversary present from the other half, although being new into the market i have no clue what i should specifically look for.The distance in key pressing isn't entirely huge issue as i can easily adjust, the only thing i am looking at is trying to get one thats reasonably quiet switches, which from what i have read is either cherry Red or Brown. But i have also read you can make any of the cherry MX switches quiet by fitting some O-rings on them so i am guessing it doesn't entirely matter? So my preferred options are:-Price £110 max-Blue LED*Preferred* or none-QuietSo After looking at few keyboards i kind of narrowed it down to these that i quite like:Asus Echelon:https://www.scan.co.uk/products/asus-echelon-mechanical-gaming-cherry-mx-black-keyboard-blue-ledSteelSeries Apex M500 :https://www.scan.co.uk/products/ste...mechanical-switches-wired-usb-anti-ghosting-bQPAD RGB Backlit MK-90:https://www.scan.co.uk/products/qpa...idual-key-rgb-led-back-lighting-full-n-key-roAdvices be much appreciated,or a different keyboard option.

@Steeps Never really used dabs before but i have seen them with good offers on components, same with another pixmania which is owned by Currys which also had decent offers aswell. I mainly buy my PC components from Scan though just beacuse i get free next day delivery, contemplating on buying a 500GB SSD to use for game installation now as i am running low on HDD space and use the current 500gb WD Black i have for more extra storage aswell or just get myself another 1TB HDD. Another note Steam has its summer sale now, anyone purchased any cheap games yet lol.
-
Who would thought BT shop would sell PC components aswell lol.

Too bad EA hasn't announced a release date for Mass Effect yet and No man sky getting delayed which is probably because they need optimise the Ps4 version most likely lol. BF1 is a definite buy for me,it has the same feeling as Bad company 2 which is my favourite FPS game. I have to say though the new COD Infinite warfare gameplay footage of the single player looked quite promising though when they showed it for Sony conference. Is Overwatch actually worth picking up Rob?? Thats a bargain Steeps for GTX970,personally if i stuck to playing games on PC i would probably look at getting 1070 myself.

Best Cleaning Products for Pearl White?
kurosagi01 replied to KellyStark's topic in Cleaning & Detailing
Some people quite like the poorboy white diamond polish for bright coloured cars, can't really say much about wax as i am now a bit of a newbie in the detailing world. Many of my friends recommend the Dodo supernatural hybrid sealant+wax though and then top it up with any good wax products which i'm sure many people can recommend better than i can,i have recently got myself a quick wax spray to top up the wax. -
I can't remember the exact improvements it make but it was something along the line of like knock headroom and better volumetric efficiency at the cost of slightly worse economy, i can't remember from the time i got it tuned by Adrian. Whether i would or anyone else would notice it is debatable but in land of programming/computing the small tiny numbers can make slight difference in the ECU.

Well i've finally decided to watch top gear on iplayer yesterday,i have to say it wasn't entirely bad i did like Matt lines and his driving scene. Although i know they're reading from a script and its scripted it just seem way too obvious from start to finish and Chris evans is trying way too hard to impersonate Clarkson. The rallycross is pretty cool and the new studio design is way better than old one.Overall i think i will give it a chance still..

*Update* 27/05/2016* Gone up to Fensport for Cosworth Low Temp thermostat installation and remap and the car feels absolutely fantastic, the car feels more willing to go at gentle tap on the pedal. Not sure how much power the car is making since the remap wasn't done on a dyno, but i will be taking the car on a dyno again when i can get few more friends to join me for it. For those wondering if the thermostat is worth it,in small world gain it makes a better improvement while idling about at traffic light as it supposingly does keep the car slightly cooler which in essence improves throttle response. The next mod plans for the car for the remainder of the year: -Coilovers -Fenders -Private plate -Save up for insurance and roadtax

If the springs still hasn't been sold by end of June i'll have them Shift.
-
That looks pretty tight holy crap O.o im going to be looking at adding another 250 or 500gb SSD for games and 1-2TB HDD for storage after all mods for the car are done.
-
I would actually buy lol save so much space

Yeah i had my rear windows tinted on my previous car but i didn't go full limo dark which wasn't entirely bad. But a tinted window on the 86 may be a bit of a nightmare just because the rear view is lot harder to look back than a hatchback lol.
-
The front is a hassle if you was to go for the maximum limit you can have in my opinion in terms of dealing with the police if they stop you because it looks too dark to them. I know there are a lot of cars out there with tinted fronts but i'm always curious to know if it affects their driving in the evenings.

Update 6/04/16 So i ordered a Mishimoto Intake hose in blue on Tuesday and it arrived on Wednesday which was pretty fast, so i decide to fit it after work while its still sunny. Very easy and simple and tiny clamps is a real pain to clamp back on and may consider getting slightly bigger one. box: removed stock hose: Installed and i also painted the red plastic battery cap just for the extra blue for fun. 08/04/2016 Weather was good and i booked the few days off and had time to debadge the rear bumper and paint the rear Toyota badge blue aswell. The other thing that happened was i accidently snapped the "GT" off the 86 and i decided to stick the 86 on the steering wheel.
-
modify the case?? I remember back in the day a lot of cases couldn't fit the big daddy 5970 when that came that. @Keethos What games are you thinking of playing? You may not even need go extreme on upgrade depending on the games. I play mostly on console myself just because of friends and family.

Lol i just remember 2 days ago my comp kept crashing when the GF was playing tomb raider..so i came home and took panels off to give it a blast of air duster..didn't realised i knocked the Fractal design fan controller cable from the PCB on front panel. Turned comp on and she played it for hour and i only realised the fans wasn't working..so i turned it off and took side panel off and holy crap it was HOT. Luckily nothing melted and i re-connected the fan controller cable and it all started working and comp runs a lot smoother now. I could imagine carrying a HAF X around @rob275 lol, would it fit in the boot of a 86 though? The fractal design is a big heavy lump itself as well. Also how comfy are the DXRacer chairs? I see so many twitch gamers promoting their chairs but is it actually comfortable and worth the price tag? @Steeps GTX970 is a great card but how do you not have enough clearance if you managed to fit 2 cards in?? @Keethos If you're not planning on gaming then i would probably look at just getting the new skylake i3+8gb DDR4 ram and a SSD or something lol.
