A lot of nice systems here and awesome desk setup and i was looking at the Q6600 back in the day but to me they're still awesome CPU to use on a quad core budget. My PC is currently being used by the GF most at the moment playing Rise of the tomb raider and my PC didn't run it that smoothly on maxed settings, i guess it be because of the bottleneck from my CPU but i may consider upgrading my motherboard to support SLI and maybe go SLI GTX970 if i get into PC gaming a lot more and need the power lol.

Hello people,i have for sale my OEM wheels with primacy tyres and i am not sure how much tread the tyres have but they could be used for track. The wheels will need refurbishment if you want use them as daily or paint them. I have also for sale my Blitz LM Panel filter which has only cover few 100s miles, bought the panel filter and then bought the SUS Advanced intake a month later. The asking price for the wheels are £300 but i am open to offers, would prefer collection only or we can arrange a meet up on weekend. Update 25/03/2016 Finally received my JapanRacing Wheels JR3 in white on Monday and got them fitted on 25/03/2016 with new Kuhmo KU39 tyres. boxed: On the car: The next mod i am planning on doing is getting the Samco intake hose and remap or some more cosmetic mods or even maybe lowering+brake pads.

Still up to the task and can handle new games still really and Willi, only reason i put office is because some people like me have their gaming setup on same place as they would to do any type of work. I use my PC to do some programming if its necessary.

Definitely need to increase both the phone and headunit volume up to be able to hear it,i remember needing to put volume upto 40(50 max) on my mazda2 just to hear my mp3 player through AUX. That is assuming the AUX+USB is connected properly to the headunit if it's been changed before or touched.

Superchargers and fuel consumption, any views?
kurosagi01 replied to Nicebiscuit's topic in Mechanical
Would you guys reckon i could still get about 270-300 miles with SC? I do about 44 miles per day on average,i remember asking this question on the 86OC forum but wasn't able to get the correct answer i wanted. -
Hello all, Just dropping by saying its great to see a huge community for the GT86/BRZ ,a huge Toyota fan since seeing the mighty AE86,Supra,MR2 and Celicas. Recently purchased my first Toyota/RWD/sports car back in November last year and extremely loving the GT86 and would love to join everyone for Japfest this year in April and later August time. Current mods done to car so far since i've owned it are: -Decals (Yep of course) -Blitz SUS Power induction kit -LED number plate and interior light -debadged the Toyota wording on the boot -OEM Mudguards -OEM arm rest Upcoming mods: -Cobrasport exhaust -Perrin intake hose - New set of tyres when required -Possible new wheels -Paint engine cover -Remap Big future mod: -Supercharger or Turbo - Carbon Fiber Bonnet Here are some pics of the car now.

Not to everyone taste but i decided paint the engine cover bay yesterday while helping my bro install his pipercross induction kit to his golf gti. The main reason is because i will be installing Blue Perrin intake hose or samco intake hose. My next big mod i'll be doing im hoping to do next month would be getting new rims and tyres since my primacy tyres have 2mm tread left. The wheels im planning on getting are Japan Racing JR3 in white with Kuhmo KU39 tyres in 17 inch.
-
oh?? Haha i didn't realise since everyone was saying KU39 and didn't realise it was same tyres until i checked again, my bad.
-
Has anyone tried the kumho ecsta le sport tyres?? I have also noticed i have now touched 20k mileage mark haha, though tyres still feel like they have plenty of grip still.

Odd marketing from Steven Eagell

The guys in Northampton are pretty nice the sales rep,one of them who is part of their sales manager is part of the Car Culture UK group and drives a R33 which i've seen couple times when i've been to 2 of their meets. He is also a good friend of my other friend who drives a Evo VIII. -

Kinda annoying when you sign a deal with the dealers they don't give you some type of form for you to opt out of promotional offers or if you want them..unless i'm blind and i didn't see it in the terms and conditions. These sort of strategies i detest the most when signing things, since they say they don't share your "information" but some marketing ploy somehow gets them regardless and contact you about Personal injury claims or you're on some credit watch even though you don't have credit card. -
Ah okay thanks i bought car with 14,995 on clock and i've done roughly 18-19k now. Going be checking the tyre treads this weekend to see how much meat it has left to see if i need change soon, since my plan now is to get new rims+tyres together in couple months time.

I always receive some marketing stuff from Steven Eagell, they even gave me a "£250" cheque to spend on a brand new car at their next big event. I just bin the stuff instantly unless it has anything important to do with my car MOT or servicing or something else. -
How many miles have most people got from their Primacy tyres on normal commute road and not on track? As i am not 100% sure if the tyres i have are new set when i bought the car or still same existing one on car..can't remember on top of my head if the sales rep told me if the tyres been replaced or not.

Well all serious talk aside..my original plan was to get set of white Rota GRA 17" which i think would look great on 86. Example from FT86 forum http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43354 :

I have the Cobrasport resonated catback system with the Cobrasport overpipe in place, its now a lot quieter after few weeks of driving,it starts combining the sound between my Blitz intake when going past the 4.5k rev line which sounds fantastic.

In terms of handling and grip what are the benefits from going 17 to 18?? I know on weaker cars it can reduce the performance slightly because of the extra weight or something,or is it just depend on the alloy itself. Also has anyone got the TRD wheels? If so how heavy is it compared to a different set of 18s or even the stock 17s.
-
Did you need anything else with the wheels like any change of locking nut? Because i understand they do supply wheel nuts to fit them but would the stock locking nut fit these fine? Also what tyres to go for? I am very tempted to cop you Deacon and use them as my summer wheels. >_<
-
Ah thats cool..i'm complete noob when comes to changing wheels as i never really done it before, thanks for heads up. I was considering some Rota 18" GRA but those fox FX005 that deacon got really do look a lot nicer but i don't really want copy either.
