Good to talk to you earlier Mike, your enthusiasm for the results you have got with the car is infectious. Its been a long time since I heard anyone say 'fuckin nora' but when you do hear it you just know its gonna be big 😆
-
Have you found the pic of the dyno sheet on instagram, its encouraging although if it is my car car there is an ally propshaft and final drive to take in to consideration
-
Mike has got mine at the moment for the very same mani and opipe. Could be my car ☺
-
I am thinking I could do the same as it is in my neck of the woods
-
Got mine at the begining of Movember, 63 plate, 15k, £17,250. Seems about right. Cant see me wanting to sell any time soon, too much fun 😊

^^^^^^ That colour goes very well

From what I understand the numbers between a TD EL and UEL are so close that it is neither here nor there so it just boils down to the cost and what kind of noise you want to make
-
Yes they do, I'm having their EL fitted at the end of the month
-
At the moment I am running the standard system and after a conversation with Mike at Tuning Developments have decided to go for his decat manifold and overpipe leaving the rest of the system stock. This to me seems like the right way to go as it would give the best gains whilst keeping the noise down for track days and also giving a fair chance of a pass come mot time (not a certainty though) I will let you know how I get on with that at the end of the month when it and a few other bits and bobs are done.

I got mine from here http://www.chestnut-registrations.co.uk for my classic bike with no bother. I don't know whether they would be willing to bend the rules for a modern car though.

I am in Falmouth for this next week although I have had to leave my 86 at home 😩
-
No worries Mark, I am often in that area so when I am going I will give everybody a shout. Have fun.

if you fancy a proper breakfast give the Yonderman Café a go. A down to earth café which has great roads all around it https://www.facebook.com/pages/Yonderman-Cafe/942214945845159

Bloomin eck, I would love to but I am away that weekend. The Cat and Fiddle pub closed down at the beginning of the year, don't know if it has reopened yet.
-
And good luck with the smoking, i packed up last november after 36 years, just got to give up the vape now. I have actually found that quitting the tabs is easier than resisting the urge to mod the 86 so what you save at one end you spend at the other (sigh)
-
Hi Mike, I am just running though the wish list for my 86. Am I right in assuming that the prices on your website are before vat.
Cheers, Andy
-
Hi Andy,
No problem, give me a phone if you like and we can run through some options.
Thanks
Mike

Whats with all this ex biker non sense. Once its in your blood it never lets you go 🏁

I don't know about all that rock band stuff but the best advice I can give is get hold of a guitar, buy a Justin Sandercoe beginners course and play for just 10 minutes or longer every day and see how you feel after a month, then come to me for lessons
-
Absolutely does Keethos although I never did get the hang of GH because It wouldn't let me improvise

I bought the Triumph as a wreck some 20 years ago but only got round to restoring it about 5 years ago. Its a great feeling to know that I have had every last component of this bike in my hands as I rebuilt it from the sludge trap up. It has fought me all the way though and continues to fight me so it is on the naughty step in the garage. The LC is the bike I dreamed about as a kid and is the scariest think I have ridden. The handling is appalling and it has a tendency to seize up. The last time it did I was doing 90 mph and it locked up solid , that was quite a moment. It too is sat on the naughty step with no more re-bores left in the cylinders. The other two are great Always loved those triples but one stroker is enough for me.

the sound must have been tremendous. I too love the boogie, I will check back in a couple of hours to make sure you have got this down
