Rear lights?

How slow is this week going, so far? Congrats & welcome.

USB port doesn't provide enough power to charge most phones, I don't know about iPhones though. I've always had to use a USB adaptor in the power socket in glove box or centre tunnel.

Happily, it was very 'fresh' so just warm water and MF towel was fine.

Bigger balls than me dude! Has it landed yet?

Washed mine this morning...

Pleased it's an easy fix. Nicely done.

Dealer greased my linkage (ooer missus) and it's way better.

The two nearest two to me were both Sytner - woeful. I have to go a few miles further to Platinum Toyota in Bath but it's worlds apart. They understand customer service - they're not GT86 specialists, I've used Fensport before and about to employ Abbey for 'specialist' work but for warranty, run-of-the-mill/warranty/service they're very good.

IME Toyota dealers are pretty hit and miss. The first two I used were hopeless, platinum bath is excellent. I've had coilpack replaced under warranty and booked in to have seals on rear lights replaced due to condensation. No complaints here, but the dealer I bought the fecker from were lying, arrogant tosspots.

I like the chunkier wheel, and the shape looks good too. The red though, couldn't live with that every day. I suppose guy above could recolour/cover it but it starts getting pricey then.

Unexpected things you like about the GT86

Interesting the 'after' figure is up to 10C cooler, that'd help a bit.

I have the Cosworth air filter, AVO 2.1/2" cat-back system and EcuTek map by Fensport so I guess it's [just?] a matter of determining which manifold plays nicely with the AVO, plus the thermostat? I'm interested to know what effect the thermostat may have though? Scrub that, found the info on website - which also makes a deal of their induction hose; 5 BHP gain; credible?

Not sure if this is the right place or should start a new topic... To get best NA performance (grunt=power+torque) what are the options/combinations? Conditions: 1. Must be legal inc. pass MOT 2. Not offensively loud 3. Not just numbers at the expense of driveability, throttle response &/or reliability 4. Cost no more than £1.50 Handling/stopping to come later.

I think you may be right. I don't get an issue in standard mode because I'm not pressing on and expecting too much in vsc/sport mode in pseudo-normal driving. TRC off is fine. I'm well used to having full control from my TVR days and the 350Z. Griff had no TC, loads more grunt & less weight and the zed was either on or off IIRC. Again, pretty sure this may be the case. ------------------------ When I'm on a proper hoon I switch off properly and have no issues, barring my experience/skill < enthusiasm. I'll stop blaming the tool and learn how to manage it properly.

Hello and welcome from a fellow newbie. I took the same route as Keethos above and echo his findings. I've also found quite a bit more torque low down - it pulls well from 2,000 RPM, unlike pre-mapping when more often than not I had to drop a gear. Whether this is proven on a proper dyno I don't know, but my arse-dyno says it's true. If you do go for a remap, make sure you fill up with V-Power - you'll get way better results if it's optimised to take advantage of the higher octane rating. If you turn up with regular 4 star or even supermarket 'super' Adrian will give you a bollocking!

A bold choice on the wheels but you've pulled it off. The boy done good.
