PRICE REDUCTION 2012 GT86 - Pearl White 22k £14595.00
long-gone replied to charged's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Cars
Advert is contrary to trade descriptions act - white is not the best colour! Everyone knows Orange is. -
Arsebiscuits. I'm having Billies fitted this weekend 13-14 August so will miss this. Have fun.
-
You're more than welcome to them. Yep, supplied with and I'm guessing that's what's borked. Yep. You're probably right, but I've had enough of them. More trouble than they're worth.

Appeared to be working fine, but after a couple of days they froze, right indicator on solid (not flashing) even with ignition off. Dunno whether it's the unit, flasher relay or what but I really can't be arsed any more. They may look the best, but they're worst for reliability.

Anyone want to buy a pair of ***** ***** ***** ***** fecking **** **** arsebiscuits ***** **** TOMS DEPO tail lights? Yours for the postage or collect FOC.

You will clearly gain the superficial benefits like being more attractive to women, but it won't make you quite as fast as a pukka real-live ginge. Do it, you know it makes sense.
-
Not heard that one before - sounds like a cunning plan. Any idea what LEDs they are?
-
Yep. Spot on. I bought the wrong ones. D'oh!
-
For the record, it's simply switch the white and red pins in light unit. Just realized I'll have to swap the buggers back in a few weeks for MOT.
-
Thank you knightryder, perfect! Virtual internet beerage to you, and others who helped.
-
Does that affect the speedometer reading by much?
-
That looks dead handy. Will watch at lunchtime if I get a chance. Thank you.

Sorry, my photos may be misleading. On the thread linked above it recommends doing the car side. It's the plug on the car wiring I'm fiddling with which is why I don't want to keep trying trial and error as I may knacker it for OEM lights too. The socket on the light unit is fixed and more awkward to change.
-
Heh. Let's hope it doesn't come to that. As there are three functions; tail light, brake light and indiwinker and four pins - am I right to assume one is earth so will remain in the same place and then juggle the other three until I get it right? How do I determine which is earth?
-
Yep, that sounds about right.

More useful for non-facebook types: http://www.japsociety.com A bit short notice for me though OP. Best of luck.

My first set of rotors were spent at about 25,000 miles, replaced at same time as pads. Replaced with Brembo rotors and EBC GreenStuff pads and at 50,000 miles they're less than 50% worn. Stops pretty well too, and no squealing like originals.

Worth emailing their sales desk and asking for some references from satisfied GT86/BRZ customers? websales@yellowspeedeurope.com
